It is very clear Yuvaraj & Dhoni cannot take any more responsibility to win matches for India. We have to look beyond them now. Enough chance has been given to them in recent times.
They are clearly past their prime..especially dhoni who has no class and is a mere power hitter..thanks to all thier contributions..but pls go as we need to have strong new gen players
It was not only a game. It was the final of C.T, after two years of preparation.They are paid billions , and want 50% hike. For what? Except for Kumar and Pandya others appeared listless.Big names, Yuvraj, Dhoni, Jadeja and even Ashwin should make way for youngsters who have future to secure.For these fellows crores are secure. They have nothing to lose, except make excuses to keep on playing.
First mistake : At the toss. After winning the toss on a true flat pitch in sunshine it only makes sense to bat first. Why in the whole world can someone choose to bowl when you know chasing would always involve pressure and more so in the final of a big tournament.

Second mistake : He should have brought Jadhav earlier than he did. He brought Jadhav around 38th over that is too little too late. The quicks were taken apart especially bumrah as well Ashwin and Jadeja.
Jadhav is a relatively slower bowler and he was the partnership breaker in the Bangladesh game.He should have been brought around 25 to 30th over. Instead kohli persisted with Ashwin and Jadeja during the mid overs which proved costly.

This is the only way the BCCI could repay the PCB for refusing to play bilateral series between the two teams and that is exactly what BCCI did by fixing this match this was a scripted and fixed match.
