Chappel should know that Ponting lead his team for three consecutive World Cup although Dhoni is not up to the mark these days but who knows he can come strong. I think we all forget that we have won two world cup in his leadership where no one has achieved this milestone.
Now Dhoni have enough money to plan the retire life . Dhone past record as caption was good he should retire with respect not to forced sack like Sachin given performance in cricket at last stage.
Emotions apart, Chappell's credentials apart, Dhoni's cool demeanor apart, it's time to appoint Kohli as the captain in ALL formats with immediate effect.
We need an aggressive captain and not a reactive captain. MS definitely deserves his place in the side as a WK/bat, but his time as captain is over.

Are you sure, he deserve a place in the side as a batsman even after such a pathetic performance with the bat? & that too for quite some time now.....

Have some respect for the indian captain with highest number of victories and trophies. More than any of your favourite player from your state.
He has performed well as cool and strtegic caption. He was good with bat and weeketkeeper gloves,but lately he has lost touch in batting as finisher also he is some times slugish behind wickets.Now he has to dcide on retirement issue.He has served Indian cricket with speldid perfoprmance,the people expects same M.S.Dhoni as in past years.
