Why was Ambati Rayudu dropped. He has been given limited chances. He has proved himself in Zimbabwe(Man of series). Despite so many failures Shiikar and Rohit were continued. Why this partisan attitude?

MSD of late himself is very inconsistent and doesnot seem to have any idea of the game of youngsters. Always he has his own few, with whom he manages control/bossing and try to apply his outdated strategy. One need to changes to the changes of the game.Selectors should have choosen Rahane/Kohli as ODI captain.

you don't need full time batsmen to bat at no 6 or 7.. it is all rounders slot! Only 5 genuine batsmen should be picked in a side, rest WK & couple of bowlers should be able to contribute with bat.
Ashwin is also a good alrounder in Test Cricket. But in One day International he is not a batsman to hit six or four in slog overs against the likes of Hazzlewood,patinson, Mitchell Starc etc. He should be considered as a bowler &helping batsman.
"Dhoni is always the successful captain for India. Like Kapil Dev for India during 1983 World Cup Imran Khan for Pakistan, Allan Border for Australia, Arjuna Ranatunga for Sri Lanka,it is Dhoni for India now. I can rate him as no.1 captain. If he wins T20 World cup title 2016, he is the only captain in the world to capture 3 world cup titles. Hence he should bat at no 3. Because he has scored so many centuries in that position. So some hitters in the slog overs will get a chance at 4,5,6. Since Raina is not there, Dhoni should encourage players like Jadeja, Gurkreet Singh Mann, Rishi Dhawan & Axar Patel to bat at that place. For T20, Hardik Pandya & Harbhajan should come in that position. Though is an alrounder, but he is not fit to come in that position to play the winning innings at slog overs. So Dhoni defenitely will do it. I got a hope that this present Indian young team will win the One day Series in Australia very easily. All the best Dhoni.
I think Dhoni can bat at No. 6 for the team to have better balance after Manish Pandey or Gurkeeth both are good batsmen. They are doing well in IPL and other one dayers etc., Dhoni cannot be for longer time and he has to find substitutes for him in due course
