It appears that a bunch of so called celebrities( who calls themselves as celebrities)and a few wily politically connected ones or politicians have donned upon them the responsibility of providing the so called entertainment to the thirsty millions of India.It's a indecent exposure of the filthy richness they acquired by fooling the teeming thirsty millions whose genuine curse will destroy them.
It is a private entertainment league. Even WT20 is a private league, but it is played in national jersey, though arrogant BCCI officials and its spineless expert legion found pride in declaring this is not Indian team, this is BCCI team. Don't dare to equate IPL with a national event. Quality of play in Test Cricket and even ODI to some extent has been hugely affected by IPL and T20. This fact has been aired by many cricket legends. But BCCI pundits will term them fools and quote story of sour grapes.
The way IPL has ruined cricket in country, it should be discarded immediately. Interstate T20 matches should be promoted, just like Ranji trophy. Stop all the foreign players, advertisements, franchisee business, it has only corrupted the game and only agenda seems to be money making . Promote and identify local talent,instead of searching all over the world and auctioning.
