none uses potable water forsuch purposes. only recycled water is used for watering lawn and trees.

the court can suggest it to them.

the court should disallow such petitions tell it is not in their their domain to interfere in such subjects.

the court can also shut down for the period of water scarcity. heaven is not going to fall!

Water scarcity-Modi should take note.

When people are resorting to suicide due shortage of water, politicians and well off are playing with it. These very fellows cry sympathy for the poor farmers on their suicides. In a country where predominant profession is agriculture, we have 140 billions dollars to be spent on railways but not for linking rivers and ensuring water supply to drought prone areas. It is very PITIABLE. During congress as well as Pawar's time also only lipsympathy was shown to farmers. If BJP really want to come back to power in next elections in centre and states, their first priority on agenda should be ensuring irigation and drinking water supply.

IPL is such a soft target because the moment IPL looms all these people under the pretext of doing some social good surface to seek there 12 minutes of fame but they do so by wasting courts time but it seems like these high court judges are also anti -IPL and have an axe to grind
When BCCI lawyer clearly explained that they use water tankers not meant for drinking purposes plus as Rajeev Shukla said by not conducting IPL matches in Maharashtra A) How much will be saved ?? B) Will it solve the water crisis ?? where was this petitioner when ICC T20 matches were being played in Mumbai and Nagpur ?? was water not being wasted then ?? why create this distinction between ICC T20 and IPL matches , both are T20 cricket cricket matches after all . Reason is simple because if petitioner had done it with ICC T20 he would have found zero support and would have been ridiculed for being illogical and an attention seeker but since it is IPL it is open season.
