No one can criticize Pitch
by Muhammed on Nov 30, 2015 10:08 AM  | Hide replies

Every home team prepares the track as per their strength & that is beauty of TEST cricket, to play in alien conditions & prove your mettle!

Australians are very selfish team if they win then the pitch is ok with them and if they lose then they point out the pitch. What type of pitch they have prepared for the newzealanders just see to it ok dont interfere here.

So Ravi Shastri & BCCI decided to give South Africa a Hammering in The Test Series - Save Imran Tahir, South Africa did not have a Big spinner in their ranks. And South Africans were vulnerable to Spin from the past. Barring AB De Villiers, none of The South African Batsmen were at ease playing spin.

Indian Batsmen still managed to Succumb to South African Spinners as they are also Not The Best Players of Spin around.

This Cowardly and Ungentlemanly Behaivour by BCCI & Director Ravi Shastri proves that Indian Cricket lacks Courage and are Born cowards who are Tigers at Home, but Lambs abroad (Ravi Shastri had recently thrown a Lavish party for an Indian team which Drew a One Off Test Match with Bangladesh in 2015 - This shows Indian team's Pedigree outside India). Indian Cricket is at its Lowest ebb and this is The Cheapest and Dirtiest Trick BCCI could have played to save Embarassment of Losing The Test Series to South Africa by Doctoring Indian pitches and Win matches inside 3 days.

They are doing a Big Disservice to The Game of Cricket and Bringing the Spirit of Cricket to Disrepute - Shame on BCCI which has no conscience or Sense of Justice or Value for Truth and fairness.

I Seriously Hope & Pray This Indian Team Gets Trashed Abroad
by SS on Nov 30, 2015 03:29 AM  | Hide replies

1) India lost the T20 Series to South Africa

2) When South Africa came to Wankehede in Mumbai for the 5th & Final ODI - The Pitch Curator Mr. Sudhir Naik prepared a Belter of a Batting Track and South Africa amassed 438 Runs and Slapped India with a 214 Run Defeat and Won the ODI Series convincingly.

3) This Massive defeat and Humiliation had enraged Ravi Shastri to the hilt and he had a verbal (possibly even a Physical) spat with The Pitch Curator Mr. Sudhir Naik and later the matter was hushed to prevent further damage.

4) I had also heard Ravi in one of the Post match sessions earlier - Where he had said - "Why should India give a Red Carpet welcome to Foreign teams that come to play cricket in India with Batting wickets?"

M S Dhoni also had advocated Turning pitches which Turn Square from Ball One - And everyone saw Indian Spinners Bowl and Open The Bowling attack with Spin !!

5) The exception was however The England team which came to India and beat India in 2012 by a 2-1 margin, as they had done their homework and had Graeme Swann and Monty Panesar to counter Indian spinning pitches.

Since India and BCCI were unable to Digest the fact that South Africa was a Far more Talented and Superior side in all Departments, they were Frustrated after losing The T20 and ODI Series, India also knew South Africa had a Very Good Test Series Record and Desperately wanted to break their Winning streak, so that Virat Kohli would not Lose his First Test

IF SA is a superior side, it should play on all surfaces, not just on fast pitches. If India prepares pitches to suit it's style, no one can complain.Nothing to do with Viart Kohli's winning streak,

Reply to Aussies is one thing and a "realistic" view of the "condition of the pitches in this test series" is another. Such tactics will only weaken team India further. Such comments will attract ridicule but, think after 5 days......with a view to make TeamIndia a better team capable to win everywhere.

mr iyer, dont you think you should take a realistic view of what is happening in aus? test gets over in 3 days?? such tactics are only weakening team australia which is getting whitewashed everywhere when travelling abroad...they can only win at home and that they prepare such pitches where they get advantage and match over in 3 days? is this their approach to test cricket? should not they prepare good sporting wickets? turning wickets so that they will be well prepared to play abroad? why these green tops or bouncy pitches? dont they want to be able to play in all types of conditions?

Well said Shastri

Australians cricketers are self fish. They always want to act other in their way. In Aus, pitches are favourable for seamers and there also matches are getting over in 2-3 days. Why dont they check their pitches first.
