What about Ravi Shastri???
by ny nj on Jan 31, 2015 05:42 PM  | Hide replies

Why no one is questioning Ravi Shastri? He came as a General Manager with full authority as if he is going turn Indian team to a winning team. What has he done? Nothing!!!

problem is with dhoni. when he led from the front, everyone realised their responsibilities and we could win. when his own performance has dipped in the last one year or so in ODIs, he never addressed to this date. so,the rest felt when the captain himself is not bothered about his performances, why should we? what can ravi shas do?

May be that is the problem, who wants to report to two bosses. He was getting into line light when youngsters in team were praising him for the support. Naturally fletcher started feeling non accountable.

Places in the Indian cricket team are secured basis past glory and not current performance. Moreover money/Central contracts & endorsements is in abundance whether you perform or not on the field.Hence the lack-lustre display and attitude. Also much euphoria and hype created arnd V.Kohli's recent performance.Last England visit he was a complete failure and about to be shown the door.Hopefully he should not go the V.Kambli,G.Gambhir & Sehwag way.

How Dhawan was given a long rope from brisban to Delhi is a matter of debate. His last 10 innings are depressing. Except for 81 in test he has performed. Rahul a new boy could have been tried. Is Dhawan is relative of any selector? matter to be examined. What about Dhoni?.He should be shown the door from Limited over cricket. Players are paid to perform on the field and not perish with rash shots bringing disrepute to the nation.

criticizing alone will not help cause of Indian team..Sunil must fight with board & selectors to atleast drop out Dhawan/Raina/R Sharma/Dhoni/Jadeja and pick up from fresh talent...who knows someone like Kapil/Gavaskar/Sachin emerge out...
