whether it is Zaheer or Bharat--the coach cannot compensate for the inner strength of a player..It is job of BCCI managers to come out of their luxuries,hunt out strong well built up lads (10-12 yrs age) provide them all facilities & rigourous training for 7/10 years to convert them into real fast bowlers who can bowl @ 150 speed effortlessly,continuously,without tiring...when BCCI has so much money at their disposal,I am sure we do not have dearth of talents and capables...can BCCI take this initiative???? or our captains and coaches keep on living in false dreams???

More importantly treat bowlers on par with batsmen. Bcci of all boards seems to treat bowlers like easy fodder. Smaller grounds, flat pitches so that there are more 4s n 6s. The balance is totally skewed. Even MOM are always batsmen, even if a bowler bowls a herculean match winning spell

This where you are making a big mistake. The coach who teaches bowlers to bowl slower has major problem. pace should not be sacrificed at any cost.
While one can definitely agree with the utility of a bowling coach with great international exposure from one's own country to help, coach and nurture the young talent and mould them into successful pacers, it is also imperative for the pacers to bowl to the field, pitch and also the behaviour of each batsman. For this, they need to watch videos of great batsemen now playing for various cricketing nations.
Coaches cannot win matches, They can only help with tips & practice, bringing the best out of a player is up to the player himself whether he wants to give out his best,also while selecting a final team, the only criteria must be the present form of players in those conditions

Make Ajit Agarkar the upper caste coach, or I will tell this to Amit Shah, Amit Shah will then convey his displeasure to Jatley who is one of the co owner of BCCI. Work will be done.

Why are you bringing religion/caste to cricket? Inspite of the religion/caste to which a cricketer belongs, if he commands his place in the team by sheer performance, he should be retained, otherwise he has to make way for new upcoming players. In the same manner, a coach who can bring the best out of the indian team should be selected, be it zaheer, agarkar or any xyz.
Bring him as a bowler. He can bowl 4 overs in the begining and 3 & 3 over spells. He will be definitely better than the current bowlers. He will have 10-0-45-3. Its sure
Its minority appeasement. Appointing Zaheer Khan as bowling coach will be a disaster. If he knew many bowling tricks, he would have been a world class bowler himself. Select someone who has been a shrewd bowler himself. He should be a master of reverse swing & Yorkers. 2ndly, we need to play less cricket bec where's the time to coach our players? Fatigue is also an important factor in too much cricket. We are treating our cricketers are money minting machines & care too hoots for defeats as long as we are earing money.

If Wasim Akram was selected as our bowling coach, I would not feel it is minority appeasement but Zaheer is definitely no good choice & hence, leads to suspicion that it is minority appeasement.
it is not that these indian ballers are lacking in skill or talent it is just that they dont have fighting spirit...and no coach can bring it ..these ballers get easymoney in IPL by just balling 4 overs so they wont improve
Coach cannot transform any of the Indian Bowlers in Akram or Waqar! More than coach, there has to be passion & Killer instinct - unfortunately you can not buy these qualities from Market or hire someone to inculcate in you.
