This phony cricketer sachin who playedthe game for his personal records, wl have to take 10 births to be even half a cricketer compared to legendary kapil dev. Kapil wore his heart on his sleeve and played for the nation. He was a match winner. This sachin on the other hand played for hia records and except a couple of innings in sharjah, never won/finished any title game or crucial game for india. sachin was the king of inconsequential hundreds. Anyway since kapil is not so smart as this gavaskar/sachin duo, he never gets his due. Same with dravid, who was the real selfless player who played for the nation.
Will make a lot of enemies, trying to sell his book.it might lead to counter books from Australian footwear enterprise and Haryana Hurricane publishers
Tendulkar can never touch kapil dev's shadow Kapil dev, siddu etc played for the country and sachin, gavaskar , shahtri etc played for their own interest sachin you diggged your own grave
Kapil is a great all-rounder but not an intellectual. He just did not have the same brainy approach to cricket as did Arjuna Ranatunga, Ian Brearley,Allan Border or Imran Khan.
He was one who shone on his outstanding athleticism and talent as a cricketer, but not an intellectual.

He was playing cricket, not writing a booker winning novel. Hv some common sense.
A Good player need not necessarily be a good coach! All have their strengths & weaknesses, like Sachin was a great player but could not be a great captain. No justifications in casting doubts over greats! Sachin's book is only his autobiography & is entitled to his views. I am sure Kapil would know this is not to offend him. There can be no doubt about Kapil's dedication to cricket. Even Sachin recognizes it.
But the biggest issue about Sachin's captaincy has been the ill timing. He was thrown into the arena when a lot of dirt hit Indian cricket and Sachin was too young. Ideally BCCI should have made Kumble the captain then followed by Sachin. He would have been in a better position to handle the job more efficiently. Sachin's contribution to others captaincy helped them much more than vice versa.
At the end of the day both Kapil & Sachin made the day for Indian cricket!
this man failed miserably as a captian and he covers that up by pulling an emotional string saying he wanted to quit just to cover up his inefficiency as captian. Now he really wants to make max money out of this book he will come up with any excuses like u used to show his bat always when he gets lbw
After reading his book, you will know that the one and only good man under the sun and moon is Sachin Tendulkar. What a shame to read this kind of book whose credentials are: Getting his 100th Century after playing with Bangladesh.
Have not attended Rajya Sabha even after more than one year of appointment but attending all kinds of beneficiary rewarding matches, telling the world that he has to attend his brother's surgery which lasted for a week.
No value for Bharat Ratna
Retired from Cricket after getting out without scoring and getting booed from fans.
Want Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai to waive off the duty on his imported car.

The way he stretched his international career after the WC win was already something we all rather wanted to forget. Raking up issues within the dressing room post retirement is further blackening his image. He even expressed disappointment on the Multan declaration where Dravid clearly made the right decision. Sad to read all this coming from him.
I pity Sachin, who has stooped down to embarassing legends like Kapil Dev....One big difference between both of them is while Kapil played for India, Sachin played for himself...
