why don't you learn English before commenting on English forums? Otherwise stick to your local regional language forums.

I am also a very great fan of Tendulkar and perhaps i have always been admiring his contributions to Indian cricket and Indian team during his long career he was not involved in any controversy or fight or misbehaviour with any umpires or team management but since his retirement i have felt that he is always commenting some thing about Indian great player or any other person why does he have to say all that or even write in the book its personal and it can hurt any one this shows he is not having a great heart Kapil Dev also contributed to Indian Cricket but he never said any thing bad about any one so far then why he is saying it does not suit his image or his personality it only shows that he is not that good person as we all assume i have read most part of his book not very much impressed with the book but still i will never buy it even if some one gives me free of cost i will not accept the book i am livid with the Indian Legend........most of the book which contains pages has all negative written about the person like coach or any one.....

What a Sachin
by debasis biswas on Nov 06, 2014 08:14 PM  | Hide replies

This is too great news from Sachin. It reminds of the politicians suspended/evicted from the party. After eviction they criticize and shows the corruptions in the former party. Here isn't it little similar? After he got retired from all forms of cricket and when there is nothing to earn, he is revealing all the facts. If these facts would have been revealed earlier, may be the scene would have been different. However, Sachin is also a politician from Rajya Sabha.

How different would it have been apart from him losing focus

Biswas - lets not forget our very own ganguly who was one of the most selfish and over rated players. Ganguly always slowed down while approaching a personal landmark and harmed the teams prospects (though most bengalis wont agree). Ganguly was selfish enough to continue as captain for over 3 years inspite of not performing, simply because of dalmia's support. After ganguly was kicked out, he was brought back as a all rounder, which was a big farce.

A STITCH IN TIME SAVES 9 (OR 11)
by rohan on Nov 06, 2014 07:41 PM  | Hide replies

Kapil is more of such kind. He single handedly won the match when India was reeling at 5 for 17 and make that stupendous 175 that lead India to the World Cup win. How can we criticize him when 100 have played for India since beginning. How many times you are the MOM in your career and a high percentage makes you the impact player. If you check the records you will find the mediocrity from the sky scrapper of runs from scores of matches that a particular player played.

Your message reiterates this point - Kapil was a great player but a brainless captain.

Kapil the coach

It is correct for the coach to let the Captain lead the team in the field and the coach discussing issues prior and after the match. Tendulkar should not expect Coach to guide him with on the field decisions.

so what will a coach do? Just make strategies off the field regardless of whether they work on the field or not? And if a strategy isn't working, shouldn't the coach help in preparing a plan b? Think before you comment Bhatia. Don't expose your ignorance on public forums. Remember that saying about it being better to keep your mouth shut and being considered a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

Kapil Dev and Sachin Tendulkar Hate each other
by himamshu on Nov 06, 2014 06:55 PM  | Hide replies

I remember Kapil Dev speaking on a News channel urging Sachin to Retire and allow fresh talent to Indian team.

This might have enraged Sachin Tendulkar to pour his frustration on Kapil Dev in his autobiography.

Anyway both of their India careers have finished.

I like both the players and both have their own talent and respect.

So why should we worry ???????

Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner !!!!!!!!
