It appears that Dhoni has lost his head after CSK's massive defeat @ the hands of KXI Punjab, & i.e why he has compared Maxwell with Sehwag & Sachin. Well one can understand Maxwell's comparison with Sehwag as they have similar styles of play i.e going after the bowling right from the first ball. But comparing with Sachin is literally hilarious. Sachin's style of playing bears no comparison, he is a grafter of runs never one to throw away his wicket,going after weird shots, whereas Maxwell threw away 3 centuries playing lofted shots and got caught each time on the boundary line. Never have I seen Sachin in his entire cricket career- tests, ODI, IPL give away his wicket. You have to earn your wicket . Basically Sachin's batting is that of a grafter,whereas Sehwag & Maxwell are blasters.

You are right Mr Roy,Sachin's style of batting is grafting runs,otherwise he would not have scored 100 centuries. Why he was called "master blaster"is a riddle?

I am in my early 30's therefore I have watched Sachin play, he never was a blaster, more interested in personal records. Blasters are V.Richards. S.Jayasurya, Sehwag,Gilchrist, Lara etc,who went for the bowling right from the first ball of their innings.
in what MSD said. All he has said was that Maxwell is a different/unique talent like SRT. There is a no comparison of individuals' records here. It is unique ability to turn the matches around in their favour is all MSD is talking about. Who knows possibly MSD/CSK will go all out to buy Maxwell for IPL8. CSK had successfully bought Smith and McCullum this year and they had really helped CSK's good performance this year (But for the 2nd match against KXII). Nothing wrong in praising a Talent.

can play the innings SACHIN played in WC2003 on fast and bouncy pitch of South Africa against world's best fast bowlers Akram,akhtar,yunus chasing a big total under immense pressure :)
No one can thrash greatest fast bowlers which Sachin did :)
Sachin is not a talent player in hard hitting. He was just a good player likes to stay in the creeze for long time. But viru was really a got timer of the ball. Certainly Maxwelll is better than these two.

HOW often have u seen him playing great or well in ODIs and Tests.... Where Sachin dominated....
Yet, its jus one season.. wait for few more to bring him into the list of greats... and to you.. no need to v@mit ur hatred on Sachin like this, who literally transformed approach..
