Risk taking & Taking Calculative risk
by Sandeep Patra on Mar 16, 2014 12:21 AM  | Hide replies

Its very easy to swim along with the tide but when things doesn’t go right, Great people evolves. Ganguly proved that how a Team like India can win with his Leadership techniques. But neither media nor Legends say this except Kapil who keep on saying that This fighting spirit & this team has been made by Ganguly. Dravid please try to inculcate some qualities of Royal Bengal Tiger(Ganguly). Take this opportunity & train Youngster with your Legendary skills but you refused. Unsurprisingly, I knew this that this will happen. Risk taking & taking Calculative risk are different thing.

That he refused a job that wasn't offered to him. If drawid becomes India's coach ..India will become the most boring team to watch in the world.

They will only bat negatively and play for draws

This boring negative blocker was the a pain in the .... to watch.

Till now, the call was to change the captain. Now it is to change the coach (though I dont favour pumpkin fletcher). You cant expect teams to win just like that (overseas).. They need practice on those pitches. Best example was in SA where there were almost ZERO practice matches in the start of the tour.. Any Dravid or Kapil or Ganguly cant change this rotten BCCI administration..

Dravid is class, Consistency and Commitment. Whenever he wants to take up a profession he certainly needs to be perfect. that is the reason he is asking for time.
He has to go level by level by proving himself. he will come all the way from under 19 or A team and such

same class and committment was the way he led india to diaster in 2007. dravid should learn from dhoni how to lead tge team. dravid will be a catastrophic coach. he should stick to mooing in the commentary box.

no one can be a good coach if he is uni dimensional. dravid is a class act no doubt. but, if the situation wants the team to score runs at fast pace, his tactics wont work. thats the problem with him.

"With two big tours of Australia and England coming up, and the World Cup after that, it is unlikely that India will change its coaching staff or any part of the leadership group. I guess they will review that after the World Cup,” --- You had the same kind of opinion about Greig Chappel and INDIAN TEAM was out of world cup 2007 in the first round. We need to change at least the bowling coach ASAP..
