A fantastic away performance by the team built by dhoni...green top plan boomeranged on england...their first test flat pitch helped them get the draw they wanted...

Its great performance but one thing need to understand this england team is very low par below, 9 lost out of 10. Even Srilanka defeated them. So we have to give them 4-0 (almost) whitewash. England team donat have even 3-4 batsman in this series.

Even Sri Lanka under Aravinda D'Silva won the series in ENgland when Azhar's team was wiped out. Pakistan also performed better than England. Indian teams with Tendulkar and/or Dravid performed below par unless Ganguly played.
not that easy.........mind it only 200 something in hand and 90 overs to play ...even a sloe RR could bring Eng to a win...still Moeen Ali . root in the middle...followed by Prior, Stokes, Broad, Anderson... and we have noticed in the series so far ...........the tail can wag a bit 2 long...so
Lord Jadeja has almost taken India on the brink of a historic win.India certainly has 70-30 chances of winning however given the history of past 'misses' in SA and NZ we keep our fingers crossed. There is a possibility of a partnership not getting dislodged as happened in past and we could witness an IPL type of exciting finish. It is time for India to understood that India cannot win just on the strength of pace attack home or abroad given the quality of our pacers. Spin is our strength and even with our spinners unable to get more wickets abroad we must persist with 2 spinners and make them learn to get wickets on foreign tours. Any playing XI is selected for all of 5 days and not with fisrst day pitch in mind as some experts are suggesting. India missed the chance at Trent bridge by excluding the 2nd spinner and it remains to be seen if we are going to miss him at Lords too! For India 3 pacers are the optimum strength and addition of 4th or even 5th will give only diminishing returns. Coming to the match, Ishant and Shami getting back their rhytm on the 4th day is very encouraging and could turn the match in India’s favour although Jadeja could be the trump card however Ishant must make the batsmen play more often.

You have a wonderful sense of the game! It is very difficult to chase over 300-315 on this wicket on the last day.
