Indeed one of the best innings played by Jadeja and Ashwin in One day internationals. It is true that the bowling of Indian Team is very weak. Therefore, they should strengthen their batting side further more. They should send Ashwin at Opening and batting order should be like, DHAWAN, ASHWIN, KOHLI, DHONI, JADEJA, AMBATI RAYUDU, RAINA, ROHIT SHARMA, B. KUMAR, SHAMI AND VARUN ARON.
it is quite evident that Dhoni wont be winning all the tosses and india wont be chasing in all the matches... Dhoni should try to bat first as well.. if you are a good batting side then batting first is the best chance of winning the matches.. also the sucess of jaddu doesnt mean that he is a good batsman.. he got a lot of chances .. also he is average bowler.. one more just after yesterday victory we shouldnt overlook the bad performances of raina and rohit
Congratulations Jadeja for bringing India out of another series defeat! Our bowlers once again let us down with 16 extras in the first 10 overs of the match with wayward and erratic bowling wide or short pitched. No word of advice given by the Indian captain or vice captain to bowl to a plan as New Zealand did to get Virat Kohli completely tied down and out. Does the India have a think tank and a stratigest to advise out bowlers how to bowl to a plan to each player as the Kiwis do or are they just going on a tour of New Zealand holiday?

a new record for nandu, typed out a sentence with no spelling mistakes..
MS Dhoni created history by becoming the first ODI captain to have participated in four tied matches. two ties against ENGLAND, one tie against SL, the last against NZL.

i agree with you ...considering others one can only say they dont deserve to be no 1...as they cant perform outside their country....not against other teams...but they dont deserve to be no 1...consider india...we have played well ...outside also...we have won champions trophy tri series in aus and many other outside tournaments...aust really cannot be considered no 1...they win only at home..recently even india defeated them in the odi series in india...
Y Jadeja didnt run the second run it will not cause any loss to him or team, even if he or aaron gets out it doesnt matter, but if the New Zealanders fail to make them run out for second run they lose the match, Aaron was ready for second run, Jaddu stopped it, its simple cricketing sense, like what Newzealand did for the last ball

because this way if we win the next two games then we can win the series since they were all out and we did not in a tie game

There is nothing wrong in what Jadeja has done. There was clear doubt in Rahane's out (caught WK on leg side). If a batsman is wrongly given out then he has no option and it is unfair to say he must walk back even if no signal from the umpire.Recently i heard Sunil Gavaskar saying his first run in test cricket actually was a legbye which the umpire thought was off the bat.It can happen in sports and players need to respect the umpire decision on the field and the captain could complain about it once the match is over.
