There is nothing wrong in what Jadeja has done. There was clear doubt in Rahane's out (caught WK on leg side). If a batsman is wrongly given out then he has no option and it is unfair to say he must walk back even if no signal from the umpire.Recently i heard Sunil Gavaskar saying his first run in test cricket actually was a legbye which the umpire thought was off the bat.It can happen in sports and players need to respect the umpire decision on the field and the captain could complain about it once the match is over.
india keeps batting second in tjis series....mainly to increase viewership in india....since it is more favourable timing....just shows how money takes over cricket thinking and greed of bcci and how everything is fixed

With a bunch of chewtea bowlers it is very difficult to defend totals. So it is right in all aspects to bowl first..
As cricket is game of Runs Scored and Wickets Taken, ICC Should Change their Rules, they should not only Consider the runs Scored by both teams, but should look at wickets taken by each team, and for games like one today, the Team taking More wickets should be considered Winning team as runs scored were equal by both The Teams
There is nothing to criticise the batsmen for the flop shows on overseas atleast in ODIs.Except in SA (where they had to face someone like Steyn in pace friendly pitches)indian batsmen had done reasonably well.In NZ all 3 matches were close finishes.Right now NZ is a dream like team with the comebacks of Ryder and Guptill, experience of Taylor and Maccullam,Soldity of Williamson, express pace of Milne and Bennette, swing of Southee, lower order hitting of Ronchi and Nathan and above all X factor of Corey Anderson and they enjoys the advantage of home conditions. But Indian bowling is totally a disaster. They struggle to take wickets as nobody have any special weapon like pace, bounce,Yorker, normal or Reverse swing, seam movement even atleast good line or control.

Yes, even if he ran himself or Aaron out, match would have been tied. More importantly, if NZ messed up the run out chance, India would have won. Poor thinking or fixed thinking.
