Whenever we lose, the punch bag becomes Captain. Dhoni also likes this. India is a cricket team with people having the highest ambitions,, to win ODI Test & T20 world cups always. But india is one of the worst test teams in the circuit, with half the win as compared to losses. In overseas, it is much worse, with loss being much less than half the wins. So many great batsmen have miserably failed after taking up captaincy other than Dhoni. With all the greats, we have lost so many test matches, even for which Dhoni is being blamed when he was captaining all those seniors, many of whom comment a lot nowadays. Giving captaincy to Kohli at this stage is the biggest crime against a budding talent, who is one of the best batsment in the world. With the weakest bowling department around, India can not be the ODI, Test & T20 champs as our fans want to always.. Perhaps the only captain who has performed as a batsman and keeper than Dhoni all over the world may be in less than a hands count, like Sanga, Gilchrist, Boucher. Being the senior most in the team, and with much less options of a keeper, a strong middle order fighter, the need of Dhoni in the team and to lead the team is at its height now, when we are discussing something irrelevant here. Asia cup matches in the Sub continent are pointer to many facts and weakness of this team, which to some extend Dhoni tries to normalize atleast in the Asian conditions.
Dravid's unceremonious exit was chiefly because of Vengsarkar's nasty comments. While he tolerated any amount of Tendulkar's failure, he passed sarcastic comments that pained Dravid and eventually his exit without giving any believable reason
our captains are senseless. shami's last ball which went for 4 thru first slip. SL needing 5 to win - our best bowler balling. why not have slip to get no. 10 out. There were seven fielders inside 30 yards to stop single. it went for four when that was sitter for slip. any other team in world like eng, aus, SA or NZ would have done that. why indian captains are not positive. these few things make it good captain or bad captain. Back in NZ 3 test, we were 280-3 and Brendon had 3 slips for his swing bowlers. With Dhoni he would have gone completely in boundary saving mode at that moment. This out captains lack. If other team needs 300 we put slip and attack and once it is below 100 indian never think out taking initiative they expect mistake from oponent. All bad captains.
We cannot make Dhoni scape-goat for the defeats. See in Bangladesh , we lost to Shrilanka. Now , dear news channels & cricket experts , whom you will blame ? Your target Dhoni is not there at all. We must blame our bowling. Its not Dhoni nor Kohli who should be blamed.

u r correct Mr.sanjaykumar we must blame our bowler and our fielding in resent srilanka india match if dhoni would be there we won this match because dhoni will never miss that stumping chance

Zee news has personal grudge against IPL & BCCI.... becoz they didnt allow their ICL to flourish....Which used to Telecast on ZEE Sports channel.... That's why they r targeting the most successful team in IPL, i.e. CSK....But why are they targeting only 1-team....There must be other teams as well, who would be involved in this.... Statement given during a Sting operation.... cannot be taken as a definite Proof against someone.... Other News channels & Sports websites r not paying any attention to their report....

Zee news is also playing a match... & they r playing it very cleverly... They know that just the Fixing news would not have affected BCCI & IPL that much...But taking CSK's name would definitely affect them.... They are taking a Bookie's statement as Proof against CSK & its players is ridiculous on their part....

I'm not saying that Fixing doesn't exit but.... They should Target other teams as well.... Should investigate against other teams as well... Why only CSK....
It is not fair to change the captaincy at this level. Earlier captains have also failed to perform abroad. Dhoni is a very good captain cool customer. He handled the situation very nicely. If other players not performing well, what Dhoni can do. The authorities should seriously think about the opening batsman. Pujara and Srikar Dhavan should open the Innings and Rohit should bat down the order. Under any circumstances, Dhoni should be continued as Captain of Indian Team for some more years. Kohli can be continued as Vice Captain in order to gain some more experience.
