srini's fixing has been proved by sreesanth episode in ipl 6 scam. n even 6 players of csk has been under cloud of fixing. report already submitted to sc.

Dhoni is the best ever captain in reading the situations. He operates with the team he has and the flow of the game. I do not doubt his courage. Let us admit it. We need good pace bowlers to win at overseas and, our current group is not good enough. On top of it, they are highly inconsistent and injury prone. Our spinners are not of the caliber of Bedi, Chandra & Prasanna. Even with these trio of spinners, our overseas record was so-so. The best advice actually came from Dravid. Take risks although your reading of the situation calls for caution and be defensive. You may lose badly but likely to give a sliver of chance to win.

It is there in my message; bowling especially pace bowling. I do not see it improving in the future. Youngsters are less interested in taking up bowling compared to batting after watching IPL. There is no charm for the youngsters in bowling. They do not want to be another Ishant & Vinay getting slaughtered on and off the field. The game has moved towards pro-batting. The more the sixes and fours in the match, more the merry. More claps from the spectators. Cricket is no longer lively between the bat and the ball.

I agree on records part of your message but not on your assessment of Captaincy. Records would have been better than they are had there been tours to Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. It would have masked the inherent problem, the pace bowling.

No Doubts in MSD's Ability. He has nothing to prove as a captain. He Won 2 worldcup's, IPL, CL, Champions trophy (IN ENGland), No#1 ranking in ODI and Test, #1 ODI player ranking etc (Nothing left to win in ICC rank)..
So Mr GANGULY you just keep quit. We all know Gangualy for John wright spat, Greg spat, Ego clashes with Indian Board and even with his own Jagmohan Dalmiya, KKR's SRK? What's your achievement Mr Saurabh?

The same captain MSD won the ODI and test series during last tour of New Zealand around 04 years back. Why ? Tendulkar, Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid, Laxman, Zaheer were at their peak. Then we lost overseas series against England and Australia with aging and non performing superstars. Now same is happening with inexperienced greenhorns during the rebuilding stage. Remember, India started winning abroad only in this century when our recently retired veterans had substantial overseas exposure after few years in international cricket. Why blame Captain alone ? Didn’t Sehwag captain in Australia when MSD was banned ? Have patience. Current crop of players are brilliant and they will deliver during overseas tour 2-3 years later with a new captain. However, Captain is as good as the team. In my opinion, Viraat appears to be too hot headed. Rahane could be a good captaincy prospect.

Everybody knows that ganguly was and is a chepo..we dont have to agree or listen to him.. just ignore average captain..just pure jealous and was waiting to pounce on Dhoni when he gets chance..Doesn't he know that it is the bowlers who coulnt take wickets for 2 days what any captain can do..
