he has won a lot away als0...T20 WC in SA, Champions trophy in Eng, Tri series in Aus...and before losing these 4 consecutive series he had won 5 consecutive series also...

yes sunil, dhoni won much more cricket matches than other captains, but, 80% of them are PAZAMA CRICKET LIKE T-20, ONE DAYER and remaining 20% he won in TESTS and too mostly on home ground. very few overseas test matches have won against bangladesh, srilanka, west indies, zimbabwe.

Rather than playing cricket played politics.For Amith Mishra Eshwar Pandey & Binny he never gave opportuntiy the time has come to take a decision.

Obviously we praised when he was doing well.Now he is not a winning captain criticism is common.
He is pampered and given too much of publicity and credit (though at times deserved like others) due to his closeness to Mr. Srinivasan and his relatives.
we shouldnt blame dhoni for he is ever ready to make way for anyone in test matches. its the lack of will power in the bcci which is blocking the emergence of a new captain for the tests. dhoni was always a successful ODI captain with only success in WC t20 2007. he surely lacks in technique in tests. he should retire from tests and ODIs. even his recent handling of ODI matches and record are pathetic.
This is the time for Mahi to take rest from Indian cricket team captain. If Sehbag, Gambhir, Yuvraj, Harbhajan is senior and they are not getting chance for their performance then why not Dhoni? In Newzealand series 1st test & 2nd test both test 100% chance to win for India. But Dhoni's captainship is not so good to win the match. Please Dhoni this is the main time for u to leave the captainship.
very few matches have been WON in New Zealand since the Climatic condition, The Pitches made up there and other factors like the overall physique of New Zealand players versus our Indian player , when all factors are combined, you can see that very few times India has recorded WIN in New Zealand .
You can NOT Blame Mahi for that.
Just because of some defeats overseas, if you go on changing your captains and players, then Indian team will get shattered.
There was a hue & cry against SACHIN last year when he was not able to perform consistently & these cryers were demanding his retirement that time & MEDIA was very ripe with similar comments. What happened That Time????
We have to ignore all such impatient reactors .
Media must behave responsible in all such cases & just to increase their TRP etc, they should not float all such Boiling questions, which are basically Not required at the moments.
Indian team need some boosting in their morale & some truthful introspection as to why they succumbed before New Zealand strength !
Their performance in first ODI was NOT SO BAAD!
So No panic should be aired against our players & the team needs DHONI very much as a captain.
