test cricket in australia.
by jaimon md on Dec 19, 2014 02:02 PM

Australia is there to win not draw or loose. So they make use any chance to win.Australian will never against any players for their behaviour. They always make other team as fun.Wish India should do same.but we are different.our mental state can affect by issues .I think its time to remove dhoni from captian.Umpiring always problem in Australia it happened all the matches against india.India should concentrate on their own game. Then they got good chance to win.I believe Kohli should be the captian.Even if we loose young team got good chance to learn.

Pujara's decision was a honest mistake
by Voosan Raj on Dec 18, 2014 03:06 AM

If you haven't watched the replay go do it. Most umpires would have given him out. I think Michael Clarke is just rubbing it in to irritate Indians.

DRS is NO restitution
by Mike Teflon on Dec 17, 2014 11:47 PM  | Hide replies

You can't hold India to ransom, with grave umpiring mistakes, for not accepting DRS..

Without improving umpiring quality, if you constantly press for adaptation of an imperfect system, then it would be a travesty of justice..

Umpires must always train their eyes on the ball path and stay alert until the ball dies..

You need more Simon Taufels to adjudicate, but not marginalize them by adapting DRS..

What is "grave umpiring mistake"??? A thing you call after watching a replay 4 times from 3 different angles.
Others call it DRS. :-)

Technology was invented and will always be compatible with Whites
by jastine m on Dec 17, 2014 10:00 PM  | Hide replies

Technology was invented by Whites and will be compatible only with White Skinned People. People of dark or brown skin might use the technology but they will be ill at ease with it and sooner of later they will loose their hold over it. They might look comfortable for the time being but soon enough they will be back to square one. So we Indians and dark Asians will refuse Technologies just like DRS with the passage of time and become primitive like we always were. There will be only going backwards from now on.

These umpires are white and anti Indian (Erasmus and Gould). They favor Australia as much as possible. Test umpires have told me that most of these wrong decisions are not mistakenly made but are deliberate actions. Test umpires J. Subbuswami and Punjabi told me this when I was a young boy.

I an Gould wants to demoralize Indian batsmen by wrong decisions because England was decimated in the previous Australian tour. He must be removed from commission. "To err is human and pardonable; but to err again and gain is not pardonable, especially when the error is deliberately forced upon the victim." India should go with the DRS system for sure.

Danca:
How do you know Gould made a mistake? BCCI is firm that umpires are 100% better than replays.

The Big Indian Corporates might twist BCCI arms to accept the DRS
by Voosan Raj on Dec 17, 2014 08:07 PM

Poor umpiring might be just a conspiracy from the DRS vendors. How can you explain the poor umpiring impact is felt mostly by Indians and that too during key phases of the game?

The impact of poor umpiring is, the big multi-million dollar star players scores and averages come down. This means their market value decreases. These big star players have lucrative endorsement deals with the corporates. So companies sales goes to toilet if their products get endorsed by loser players.

So you see how things are badly intertwined?

I have a feeling the intentional poor umpiring will be considered by all these corporates and the impact these things are having on their product sales. They are going to kick BCCI's backside to solve this problem to make sure their brand value remains intact which means their star players score runs and be popular in the eyes of public.

Umpiring in Test matches in Australia
by Mambakkam Subramanian on Dec 17, 2014 07:29 PM

That the umpires made a mistake is nobody's secret. But who is responsible for that? If the amount of appealing by Nathan Lloyn had been from an Indian bowler he would have been warned or fined. But Lloyn gets away with it. The Australians virtually blackmail the Umpire. In the First Test there was a glaring instance when Lloyn and a fielder in forward squareleg appealed for an lbw tith the ball clearly so much out side the legstump that it would have missed not only the three stumps but three more if they were there.
Australia believes in Win by all means philosophy and they just do not care about the niceties.

umpiring mistakes

Poor umpiring in first test spoiled India's chances. Same is the case with second test also. There should be some mechanism to review the umpire's performance after the test atleast
