Poor umpiring in first test spoiled India's chances. Same is the case with second test also. There should be some mechanism to review the umpire's performance after the test atleast

The BCCI is full of corrupt people from Sharad Pawar to Srinivasan.
On such situations the 3rd umpire could certainly intervene and inform the on the ground umpire about the mistake. Yess LBW may not be conclusive but definitely is an aid to remove poor decisions.

Yes before sending Pujara back the third empire should check or else he should be called back.. just as they check for no ball even after the umpire gives out.. and if the third umpire finds it as no ball the batsman comes again to bat...so not for this case?
