They somehow got lucky in the 2nd match, but the Brits are all set to wipe the floor with these girlie-boys, pouring even more humiliation on them after the Anderson fiasco.
If this match has to be saved, Dhoni must open in the 2nd innings alongwith Murali vijay, all others have miserably failed, here bowling needs variety & frequent variation, steady line & length will not help
Slip fielding is a highly specialized job especially the ‘catching’ which can be perfected only by practice. As the time involved is very short—fraction of a second needless to say the fielders have to be ultra-alert besides the right standing posture for quickest reflex action to grab the ball that comes straight to the fielder or to lung with alacrity whichever way the ball travels to.Very often slip fielders are not alert as mentally they are elsewhere day-dreaming and come to senses only after they spill the catch. So how to be alert ? The slip fielders must be focused and follow the trajectory of the ball right from the time of delivery to the time of contact of the ball with the bat .That will ensure that the fielder intuitively grabs ball direct or by lunging wherever the ball goes. So, the fielder must concentrate and be focused at the “point of contact” of ball and bat for best slip catching.
Indians had an overdose of cricket. Pro kabadi is very interesting. In CWG we have won 15 gold medals. With football and hockey franchise indians are getting a variety of sports to watch. Indians winning or losing a cricket game is no more very interesting.

A message for those who are in a hurry to start comparing Pujara and Kohli with Dravid, Sachin, Laxman.
Consistency is something that you need to look out. One or two successful series is not enough to start comparing youngsters with all time greats. Players like Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman, Ganguly gained their reputation after years of consistence performances, not after one or two series.
Don't be in a hurry to start thinking that any of our current batsmen are equivalent to our all time greats! If Kohli et al are still good enough to stay in our test team after 3 or 4 more years, only then can there be a chance to start the comparison! They still have a long way to go before they reach that stage.
Our selectors always go wrong when picking up a team for a tour away from the sub-continent. Not including Umesh Yadav is one such example. Imagine if we had both Umesh and Varun bowling at tandem to the English batsmen. We know they are not good at playing Genuine fast bowlers.
