Sachin is a gentleman, which cannot be said of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha crowd. Many of these people are criminals white collar and blue collar. How can a gentleman like Sachin be expected to be among such people? Sachin must be praised for keeping away from such bad company. Never go to Rajya Sabha Sachin. Jai Maharashtra.

sachin was seen requesting parliament to be shifted to maharashtra so that marathi manus don't loose touch with their vada pav's and pav bhaji's near parliament.
Bharath Ratna was the biggest mistake ever. What is his contribution to nation other than multiplying his own personal wealth? There are many other able sports personnel in India. He is one among them. History will never forgive India
With all due respect to the cricket legend, let me say that Sachin has not played his role as an RS MP. In my opinion, he will never be able to fulfil our expectations. His world is different from politics. Politics is a full time occupation and debating and discussing various issues in parliament is not Sachin's cup of tea.He should immediately leave RS seat and concentrate on his favourite areas.
In Rajya Sabha ( upper house ) generally the people are appointed due to their political affiliation and includes some members who has no capacity to win a parliament election. The people of all field are selected in the Upper house including authors, poets, sportsmen, actors etc. Sachin is a noble person, globally known cricketer and a good human being who is never involved in any controversy so far and his more mature at his age. He is a brand ambassador and one can not expect any miracle from him in the Upper house when all seasoned politicians in the Parliament could not do anything to improve and revive the Indian economy. He is a family person deeply and closely connected with his family. It was his duty to be side of his brother who has played an important role in his life and career and made Sachin what he is today. If a person like Rahul Gandhi, who was ruling the country didn't took part in any debates or raise any questions in the parliament and was recently caught napping in the parliament. If such person can not contribute any thing why to blame others ? People and media should atleast stop criticising a gentleman like Sachin Tendulkar just for publicity purpose.

By his brother's side for two years, when my mother was operated maximum time spend by me was 4 days and about a week before ,then my wife took over and I started to work as usual.Does'nt Ajit have his own Family?
As a cricketer, when you were criticized , you would let the bat talk. Having lied about the reasons for staying away, you must now let your presence and participation in parliament do the talking or quit. You are legendary. and the world will remember you for tens of years if not hundreds. this comes with a responsibility - the responsibility of impeccable behavior. Hope you will live up to it
