And century's greatest blunder from the same Sachin. Never attended a single parliament session after becoming an mp(rs member) . Just enjoying his facilities ( why he need this?) . He should resogn rather than wasting commom mans tax money.

Resposnsible Rediff

Rediff, please, no Cheap articles henceforth. You have given many useful articles, thatswhy you have many rediff-loyalists like me.

Look at the title, "Revealed......" Has rediff got reduced to Page 3? Did it take a life-time's jassosi for this author to unearth the 'greatness' of this cricketer? could this author dare to reveal pseudo-patriotism of people? Better use your journalism skills to pen some memorable articles, not such yellow articles for jaundiced people!

Responsible Media
by bijay bhujabal on Aug 06, 2014 10:32 AM

High time, media became responsible. High time, media stops worshipping Sachin Tendulkar. There are many unsung heroes in India whose work needs to be highlighted.

Media just cannot continue to dictate other sections of the society about righteousness, and their responsibility and conveniently forget its own responsibility in return for commercial gains.

Will rediff start an opinion campaign to honor Dhayn Chand with Bharat Ratna!?

he he he he,again he proved how selfish he is. Lot of short cuts made him an MP and then also given a "fixed" BR. He has only 3% attendance record in parliament. All this patriotism is only a drama and publicity stunt.

killer instinct
by on Aug 05, 2014 08:54 PM  | Hide replies

tendulkar lacked killer instinct of dhoni and laxman...when near a tough victory tendulkar always choked...whereas dhoni excels and wins becoz of his temparament...most of his hundreds were scored in vain..even his greatest inings in one dayers, the sharjah innings he got out in the end, the 136 against pakistan.. and also the 175 aginst australia india lost by 4 runs...he could not score 121 runs to win against westindies...he only played one tough innings against england 103 chasing 387..even that was easy becoz of pitch and sehwag

the games you are referring to were drawn games...i m talking about winning games when there is good opportunity...its not about opener or middle order batting...its about winning the game when nearing a victory..but tendulkar always choked and got out ...whereas dhoni and laxman won games...

if same situation happens 10 times that is sachin is 175 while chasing 350 he will get out 7-8 times at that score and endanger india win while dhoni and laxman will succeed 7-8 times out of 10 in the same situation and will see india go past the finishing line...

before he became opener sachin played at least 70 odd games down the order...how come he was not called a good finisher during those times?
