killer instinct

tendulkar lacked killer instinct of dhoni and laxman...when near a tough victory tendulkar always choked...whereas dhoni excels and wins becoz of his temparament...most of his hundreds were scored in vain..even his greatest inings in one dayers, the sharjah innings he got out in the end, the 136 against pakistan.. and also the 175 aginst australia india lost by 4 runs...he could not score 121 runs to win against westindies...he only played one tough innings against england 103 chasing 387..even that was easy becoz of pitch and sehwag

FYI dhoni n laxman bat in lower middle order and everybody knws wht dhoni has done outside asia...

well wht wud u like to say about SACHIN's 169in SA whn team was 69/5,119 in england whn team was 183/6 and target was 408...
n0wonder u ign0rentf00ls dnt check stats...

the games you are referring to were drawn games...i m talking about winning games when there is good opportunity...its not about opener or middle order batting...its about winning the game when nearing a victory..but tendulkar always choked and got out ...whereas dhoni and laxman won games...

if same situation happens 10 times that is sachin is 175 while chasing 350 he will get out 7-8 times at that score and endanger india win while dhoni and laxman will succeed 7-8 times out of 10 in the same situation and will see india go past the finishing line...

before he became opener sachin played at least 70 odd games down the order...how come he was not called a good finisher during those times?

What makes Sachin Tendulkar the greatest batsman...

a 'ball' can't make you a great batsman.

It has to be a bat.

a batsman is nothing because however big he might be, he needs a ball to be bowled at him to show that he is a great batsman.
