India's loss
by vilas apte on Aug 01, 2014 02:30 PM

India's loss by a heavy margin of 267 runs, just after their victory @ Lords is shameful. Virat Kohli seems to be busy with Anuskha Sharma, and has no time for net practice, Shikhar Dhawan still seems to be in IPL mood, Dhoni is a cropper on seaming wickets. Apart from Ishant & Kumar our bowlers lack the experience, pace, & variety to bother the English batsmen. Our commentators Manjrekar,Dravid& Bhogle were poking fun of Moeen Ali's off spinners, but he has proved in this match that on wearing wickets he is a very handy bowler. After a long time we are seeing an off spinner bowling with a straight arm, because after Murlidharan's bent arm success all off spinners resorted to up this variety of bowling.

when team india toured overseas means defeat in series starts. Even dhongi and co did not try to avoid huge defeat. In previous match england required 319 runs and lost match by 95 runs only but here 267 runs defeat. What is wrong with bypass surgery man chiteshwar pujara, viraat doggi, gabbar, even most best finisher and great captain of indian cricket dhongi baaba. all were flop against part time bowlers. shame bcci shame.Corruption and worst performance continue. Now 7th august let see how much improvement given by crorepati coach dunken.

Yes Abilash, even that requires a special talent - to remain on pitch for 60 overs - and that is what India (sorry, BCCI team) needed yesterday to avoid humiliation.
