CSK's Position under threat
by Ashok Kumar on May 24, 2014 08:39 AM

CSK is paying the price for some unimginative bowling and for playing for the Gallery in their earlier wins. By taking matches to the last over too frequently, CSK has not done any favour to their NRR. Now it is a definitely possibility that KKR takes over the No. 2 position in the Points Table. With momentum gaining in KKR's games, their chances of a 2nd crown have definitely improved.

Possibility A:
Kings XI Punjab
Chennai Super Kings
Rajasthan Royals
Kolkata Knight Riders

Possibility B:
Kings XI Punjab
Chennai Super Kings
Kolkata Knight Riders or Royal Challenge Bangalore
Mumbai Indians

Possibility A looks more likely..

New strategy in place for IPL
by Vinu George on May 20, 2014 04:47 PM

Sun Gava should start playing IPL and Maxwell, Smith, Gayle and Co. should learn from him how to make quick runs... Ishu Sharma should become bowling coach and should teach his team how to bowl death overs....... Bog Harsha should be captain of a side...and please let Danny morr-son to be an umpire.... IPL Extravaganza !

Heating up
by Ashok Kumar on May 14, 2014 08:55 AM  | Hide replies

IPL 7 is heating with up just at the right moment. No team can take it for granted a place in the last 4 till they play their next 2 matches. Ofcourse it is lost battle already for Delhi Daredevils. It will be a miracle if they are able to win their next 4 games and end up with 12 points. Highly unlikely

Don't have to wait for the end matches. It's clear that king's xi Punjab, Chennai super kings and Rajasthan Royal are almost certain to qualify for the play off. What are we talking about peaking at the right moment. Some fixed matches are also surfacing like MI vs Hyderabad etc making the matches less and less interesting.

Dear Rathor,

Why don't you put up another post on 25th May saying that the top 4 teams have already qualified and put up another expletive, saying that I was wrong? Quite obviously since the time I posted, few additional matches have got over and the chances of top 2-3 teams have improved. I just commented that teams can't take their place in the semis for granted. Don't you know how to keep this forum clean?
