It was not Yuvraj but Dhoni to be blamed
by aam admi on Apr 07, 2014 12:20 PM  | Hide replies

for sending Yuvraj after 2 down when he was out of form as is clear from past performances , exception was only match with Australia.
Either Dhoni or Raina could have been sent after Rohit was out.
Dhoni played friendship instead of playing for the pride of team work.
the question is why did he act like this ? By the time Yuvraj was out Match was already lost.

selecting 11 best players in form is job of Tour selectors!!! player s are not selcted for trying on the field they are to perform and it was obvious from first match against pakista that Yuvi is going to struggle but Dhono still persisted with him that is biggest mistake by Dhoni. b4 it was Ishant now it is Dhoni if they are in team Dhoni just wants to select them in XI benching more deserving players, lyk Rayudu and Binni

he he he he,it was a complete surprise to see a senior pro like Yuvraj can not read the gravity of the situation. He was sent with a purpose and if he was not able hit or rotate the strike, should have got out. What can Dhoni or Raina do when Yuvraj wasted 21 deliveries and allowing only about 12 deliveries for Dhoni or Raina knowing very well that Malinga had a couple of overs left for him.Yuvraj's stay at the crease turned the match in Sri Lanka's favour.

yuvraj VS kohli
by girish ramesh revankar on Apr 07, 2014 12:07 PM

It was clearly a game played between yuvraj & kohli & not india & srilanka as india was beaten by yuvraaj & not lanka , immediate reason for this was when Kohli got marriage proposal from English cricketer Danielle Wyatt & nobody even cared for yuvi this hurt him & he got his revenge on the field , you could see it clearly the cold vibes between the two they were not even talking or discussing seriously about strategy to rotate strike or attack ..

Yuvraj to be blamed?
by abhijit bose on Apr 07, 2014 11:59 AM  | Hide replies

I don't think so, and I also pity for the expert commentator who don't even analyse, The pace bowlers like Malinga and Kulshekhra were not at all interested to pick wicket rather were doing negative bowling near the sideline of the pitch, it is our coaches fault that they have not kept this thing in mind and prepare the team, check the replay you will understand, any batsman couldn't have scored in this situation.
