Lost the matcvh single handedly
by shailesh on Apr 07, 2014 10:19 AM  | Hide replies

Rubbish. What was needed not someone who hits out but someone who can take fast singles and give strike to the man on form. Yuvraj could not even touch the ball and managed to loose the match single handedly.

Its not about having an off day - when was he having an on day in the recent times to figure in the team. There are many capable players sitting outside like Gambhir, Sehwag, why is the dead body of Yuvaraj being carried out?

I think the match might have been fixed. that's why no body including Dhoni did not repent on loosing such an inportant match

Same Yuvraj had made us win 2011 50-50 WC final!!!

Before pointing the fingers at Yuvraj singh, people shouldn't forget that he is the same Yuvraj who had played a major role in winning 2011 50-50 WC.

Same Gundappa Vishwanath and Bishen Bedi have won us matches.
So according to you they should still play.
You expect to retain sports persons on the basis of what they did in 2011.
Wow What LOGIC.

He is not Yuvraj any more and has become Maharaj now it's a time for him to get retired and to be ancient Raja.

Yes, absolutely it was an off day for yuvraj else every one knows what kind of player he is. but simultaneously i give credit to lankan fast bowlers who bowl exceptionally well and our bowlers need to learn from them.

Even 150 was not adequate. Score of 175 plus was needed. So blaming Yuvraj is gross injustice to him.

Yuvi's crawl
by Madhu kumar on Apr 07, 2014 10:03 AM  | Hide replies

Dhoni misses the point. Why did he not send in Raina who would have scored at least a couple of sixes and fours as in the previous game. Yuvi could have come in later if need be after Ashwins wicket. The match seems to have been fixed !A CBI enquiry is probably warranted which can be sought by the present BCCI President

Dont forget that an important win to reach in finals was played by Yuvraj in this tournament.

So selecting Yuvraj for the match and not relying on him to perform are contradictory things.

After selecting him in playing 11 he was sent at his natural position and this was a right decision.

Perhaps yesterday was the day of Sangakara who was otherwise flop in the tournament but did what his team needed him to do.

A loss brings disappointment but blaming the captain and yuvraj is more atrocious things one can do.

Definitely u r 200% correct and there is no doubt that its dhoni around whose whole indian team revolves. and its dhoni because of whom yuvraj Is there in the team even after continuous failure. and nothing to comment on dhoni batting and intention for not sending raina and jadeja prior to himself.
