India's bowling not good enough to win 2015 World Cup, says Ranatunga

Has not been tested in trying conditions with the beat players our performance in England and Australia was pathetic and the world cup is in Australia and Newzealand where the ball does wonders and not dead pitches of India helping spinners

Some on this forum are reacting emotionally to Ranatunga's comments. Take his comments as advice and move on. No need to bash the guy. As a matter of fact, he is right. Atleast on the paper, Indian bowling is weak and you can't win the World Cup with a strong batting performance alone.

India has to win world cup.The world cup 2011 was fixed for India and if sharad pawar wants he can win the 2015 world cup for India.

that we have one of the better bowling attacks now. B Kumar can swing, Umesh has raw pace and Shami can seam and reverse.

Now if we can only complete the spin dept, then we are good. Jadeja needs to shore up his batting against pace. Ashwin needs to tighten up or we need Amit Mishra to step up.

He is right WE HAVE NOT GOOD BOWLING AS 2011. tHERE WE HAD Zaheer, Nehra, Munaf, Bhajji, Ashwin. Now boys are erratic and so less chance.

This is what Ranatunga said about India during 2011 WC. What abt Sri Lanka Sir, at present they can net only west Indies Bangladesh and new Zealand. Comment about your country first Mr. Ranatunga
