And at the most, Srilanka can reach finals where they choke down to give India the cup :)
Now the Indian Team Management must take a clear step if they want Gambhir &Zaheer to be part of 2015 world cup else they need to train one more batsman like Dinesh Karthik and bowler like Umesh yada much be given ample of time to settle them. Dinesh karthik would be better option for both the out of form batsmen like Yuvi & Raina. Umesh can produce pace and would be much better compare to Ishant or Vinay Kumar!
India had never been a strong bowling side. But still India had won two odi wc, one twenty twenty wc and even became test number one side. The time when India won all those our bowling was never a strength. But now with Bhuwaneswar, Shami and Umesh returning the bowling lineup has strong potential with two who can bowl consistantly at mid 140s and one who can swing bowl at both ways. The recent poor showing with the bowl is mainly bcoz the conditions were not friendly and the bowlers of the other team also struggled.
Forget WC.With this pathetic bowling you cannot even win against a ranji state team.Its always been about the batting and bowlers are just like office boys in this team..
1. Were the Srilankan veterans asked mostly to judge how the Indian lineup is?? Vaas, Ranatunga, Jayasuriya all 3 speak more about Indian cricket in this case.
2. And dont people having ANYTHING else than "talent" when referring to Rohit Besharma? I am sure it will be embarrassing even for him to hear the same from 2007... And it is not a credit anymore :)
If India want to go full guns in WC they must improve. Shami and bhuvi r better bowlers . They need improve in speed. Spinners should improve .not always we can rely on part time bowlers.
