We grew up watching him play cricket.now he won't be playing, just cant imagine. really Cant'
We were in school nearby when They played and he made century in Silchar stadium.
We have grown seeing him play.
So he is the common thread to all events in our life, esp television viewing and beyond.
I have seen his 49th test century in Bangalore Chinnasamy live!
Can relate to his mindset...though he is elder.
We came down to town from college to see his Sarjha knocks in tv.
Saw his wedding pics in magazine. His kids are grown up now.
May people probably don't know of Sachin yet..neither does he!
That's what is life all about...mix of known, unknown ...a journey from seen to unseen and vice versa.
Its a Universal life...each beaded to other..so lets make it large!
Sachin ji the all time great!
Will remember you playing always!
looking at his pictures and posters in remote individual houses I can say he is a great icon in Bengal along the most popular film stars..I am not naming them.
Even one retires ...on emotional note!
Buts it rarely been captured so magnificently..and in genuine note or voice.

It's an emotional moment for Sachin and his billions of fans. For me I am born in 1976 and started following cricket around 1986. So, I have followed his career for all these years and never found such a humble man in the game. Look at todays players, when they took a catch, make a century how they celebrate, sometimes using foul language as well but you look at Sachin, even after so many achievements he is so down to earth.

Lots of great indian cricketers and international cricketers retired, but Sachin retirement scenario is special, it shows that SACHIN is different from other. His game and dedication to cricket made him special. THANX A LOT SACHIN, for making every indian proud. CRICKET & TRUE CRICKET WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU
