It would had been more appropriate if the playing carrier on a 22 Yards strip had ended in 22 years instead of unnecessarily delaying by 2 more list less yers

Well said Purna. Ideally, by the end of Aussie whitewash, he should have been chased out like Dravid.

The debacles in overseas conditions could dent the career of mightiest but we are discussing someone who was granted immunity from failures. The countless failures at the turning points of game may have caused severe damage to the psyche of people but BR is anyway his birth right ahead of Dhyan Chand who lead Indian hockey for 17 yrs as number one team in the world

We are proud of Sachin
by K Natarajan on Nov 17, 2013 09:20 AM

He has crossed all the frontiers of cricketing records. Yet he is simple and humble. He literally poured tons and tons of love and affection for family Friends and Mentor during his extempore speech choked with emotion. We are touched when he touched his home pitch and walked off slowly hiding his uncontrollable tears. No wonder Bharath Rathna is in a hurry to embraze this proud INDIAN.Well done SACHIN . Whole of INSDIA and the sporting fraternity all over the Globe is proud of you.

That was a fine speech by a great player and humble human being. Sachin deserves every bit of the love and praise that he has got over the years. It is also a very good time to present the Bharat Ratna to him. Thank you Sachin, for 24 years of joy. Thank you Sachin, for all the memories. You will remain in most Indians' hearts forever.

Sorry to Say once again politics in India did not favour the Best of ALL TIME. It is Injustice to Great Tiger Majar DHYANCHAND, the Magican of Hokey who is the real inspiration of youth and had three hokey world cup on his record. Sachin played 24 years, played 4 world Cup But only one is in his Account. Sorry to Say Its Great Shame for Indian those who love Hokey.

Media is unnecessarily passing valuable times on media by Sachin-Sachin, diverting the mind of the people from the basic problems during election time. Sachin earned lot of money but not spent anything for the poor nation.
