he played more than 250 matchwinning innings... n if u expect an opener to play till last over then it shows ur knowledge in cricket... hahah

Your presence itself had a reassuring effect on indian dressing room...Your detractors were the ones who were always first in line to catch a glimpse of you and your inning so let us not be bothered about them..After independence there has been no one who has united this nation like you have done..I have enjoyed every bit of your presence from the day you hit Mr Abdul Quadir out of stadium till the last ball you faced...No I understand the meaning of the phrase "Every good thing comes to an end".Like millions of other Indians I also have mixed emotions today.. Have a wonderful life ahead and thanks for providing so many super heroic stories to me and many like me to tell to there grandchildren...
Until recently, 80% of the people now praising Sachin were desperately and impatiently waiting for his retirement. Heights of sycophancy........ Sachin... you are mature enough to understand sycophancy... please don't become a political leader just to continue this..... if you become a political leader... be genuine and do some good
Sorry to take a different stand.Mr Sachin Tendulkar is a professional who is good at his job and has earned more than adequate returns from it. He is NOT Mahatma Gandhi. He has not saved the country from dire straits.

absolutely agree with you. Media is also dearth of news, instead of giving some constructive news, creating an unnecessary hype. Sachin is good but too much is too bad.

How many people felt joyous , happy, satisfied , pride of being Indian with the job you do ?.....and that to for How many years?
Test 241*, 169, 136, 119*, 114 ODI 175, 143, 141, 134, 98... these 10 inn1ngs are enough to pr0ve you greatest batsman ever...9 out of these 10 have come under immense pressure... thanks SACHIN for entertaing us makinging us feel proud Indian... now cricket will no more be cricket... now we will not see century OVERSEAS.... RIP Indian Batting ...
