Did anyone bother about Viru? What a class player he his and I agree that there are at times players cannot shine up when expected but it is not crime. Now his career is itself at the brink of collapse. No one worried about him nowadays? I believe it is end of road for him if not some miracle have to happen. All contract of Sachin should be stopped immediately once he put down the papers. Why to incl him in Grade A? It is not Chennai lobby at any time. BCCI means only Bombay lobby. Sachin might be great player but not greatest. Before Dhoni where is this Sachin? All success to India comes in the form of Saurav, Shewag and Dhoni but not from Sachin as a individual. He is a selfish player by any mean. If Viru retires from Intl.Cricket, will BCCI conduct such a farewell? If team drops Murali Vijay, will anyone worry about? Where comes Chennai lobby here? Sachin needs no money as he is rich already and in that case, he should not accept the grade A contract anymore. If he is honest then let him do it imme.

Yes. Viru used to score 1 century every year and used to get confirmed for next 2 years. But he has stopped scoring even 1 century for 2 yrs. So he cannot continue. I hope u understand.

yes, the contracted players are paid the said amount mentioned in their contracts (only tds deducted) , whether or not they play a single match. the meaning of retainership contract is, that when the period expires, the bcci can enter into a new contract (renew the contract) or can dispense with the services. ...apart from the contract money, all players who play a match are also paid match fees. ..if you compare it with what bcci earns, it's meagre, however if you compare that with other sportspersons or cricketers of other nations its enough, other than these, there's ipl and endorsements where a player can earn. ranji players are paid much lesser than intl. stars.
Unnecessary hooplah of a sports orphaned nation with a colonial hangover of a nomadic game hardly played by anyone and where guys with middle age call them men of sports;
BCCI cannot touch SRT and VK keeping BCCI at check using his bat and hence both are Grade A.Poor guys Dinesh Kartik and Rahane continue in 'C' courtesy.....
