Okay so what if Gurunath is owner. He is betting which is illegal fine. What next? How is a BCCI probe going to probe his role in fixing? The police or CBI can only go raid houses and bookies to get this info and courts can enforce laws. What will BCCI do sitting and talking to players? At best they can ban players, like what they did with Azhar and yet he became MP! And conflict of interest is an old issue- it should have been addressed by Modi and Pawar back then when it could have made a difference. Merely substituting Srinivasan with another crook is not going to achieve anything.
