BCCI,Congress & double standard
by rajat lahiry on May 25, 2013 08:42 PM  | Hide replies

(1).      Refusal by N.Srinivasan to step down is exactly the same language congress speaks in the parliament on the strength of outside support & support from allies.
(2).      Congress leaders are demanding resignation of N.Srinivasan. Is it not the exclusive disease of BJP?
(3).      Pawan bansal’s nephew was caught red handed with Rs.90 lakhs & still Congress resisted his resignation stating Bansal’s crime has not been proved. Here Guru Nath has not even been caught red handed with money or any other documents. Why this double standard?

Look at the fate of Air India, now
by Ardaseer Cursetjee on May 25, 2013 08:38 PM

Air India was rocking and was a pride of India as a private body. As soon as Air India was taken over by Indian government on name of evil Nationalization, Air India crippled into a burden of waste on Government state exchequer.

BCCI should continue as a private body and Air India should be privatised and handed over to Tata's, once again.

Air India Vs BCCI
by parsi brahmin on May 25, 2013 08:25 PM

When Indian government can't poke it's fingers in BCCI affairs as it is a private body, why did it nationalize Air India--Air India was a Parsi based private body?

Why Indian government meted out different treatment to Parsi, a minority group?

Why Indian government is biased with BCCI
by parsi brahmin on May 25, 2013 08:22 PM

Tata had the same powers on private Air India; these same ignorant monkeys fell on Tata.

Indira Gandhi nationalised it. Why different treatment to BCCI.

Why so much discrimination between DAMADs
by Ram Sharma on May 25, 2013 08:12 PM  | Hide replies

Why so much discrimination between DAMADs of Sonia & Srinivasan. When Robert Vadra's land scams came to light, various govts took pains to declare him innocent. But in Meiyappan's case this was not done.

Kaka Rads
Hail Srini
by Kaka Rads on May 25, 2013 08:08 PM

Though Srini was Murasoli Maran's Hawala manager and shared his girlfriend in Singapore with Maran, though he may be arrogant macaque, it is unfair to ask him to resign.

He may have teamed up with Karunas and KD brothers and their illustrious dad, it is unfair to expect him to act in cultured manner.

Biased Media !

The rulebook says that a member of the franchise involves in such affairs the team can be scrapped. The member can be a player/CEO/Team Manager/Doctor hence RR to be scrapped first then CSK. Any other team players are involved in the scam those teams to be scrapped. This is being buried and the media talks about only scrapping of CSK. Why the same media did not refer this rule to RR ? Hence the media is a biased against CSK but before Srinivasan steps down he will use the rule and scrap more teams including MI as Harbhajan role is also reportedly confirmed from some sources. So CSK haters ! Please be ready to swallow this development in next few days

B C C I Preident's powers
by Ashish Singh on May 25, 2013 07:50 PM

Why should the govt step in,the media is full of stories every week,of govt's interference in everything, and clamour for more privatization is rising. Then why now the call for govt to take action on a private/semi private board.Privatization will lead to profit earning, exploitation, and bending of rules for benefiting certain person, though he maybe a crook. Every sports body in India is neck deep in corruption,BCCI being the richest has many enemies & the current BCCI President, because of his arrogance failed to have the media on his side.
