Rahul Gandhi should be BCCI president
by Renuka Chowdary on May 25, 2013 09:38 PM  | Hide replies

An young and charismatic leader like Rahul Gandhi should be made BCCI president. As he is leading Congress party taking into confidence of different minority groups and majority, am sure Rahul Gandhi will justify the aspirations of all races, clans and groups.

Glamour, Intelligence, Political power and Youth is what you can expect from Rahul Gandhi for BCCI president's post.

Why target Srini?
by blahblah on May 25, 2013 09:32 PM  | Hide replies

Asking for Srini's head is like putting the parents of a criminal child in Jail.
Until now, it has not been proven that Sini did anything illegal. That he is an able administrator has never been in question (although it is widely understood that he is brash and arrogant etc). So why go after him? Until it is proven that he did something illegal, leave the guy alone.

What actions? Have you read anywhere in the media that Mr. Srinivasan has been involved in betting or involved in match fixing or spot fixing? Will be great if you can post a link here.

This a political game of sharad pawar planned , man with crooked face trying to grab his share of BCCI to another loot.....to support RR patil who we very well know from the recent traffic policemen episode.....
surprising a deputy minister who has raised a provocative speech of raising swords for karnataka and maharashtra border issue has been not even questioned by the so called fixed media

You are soft on Srini because he is from your clan. Why Sharad Pawar got a chance to play politics? Did he asked Meriapan to bet and fix? Just Tamil loyalty blurs your vision

Srini's Head is Being Asked for Following Reasons
1. When Srini was asked About conflict of Interest While He Occupied BCCI Chief Position & He Being Owner of CSK, He Clarified The Owner is Meiyappan.
2. All Along Meiyappan Functioned & Portrayed Himself As Owner of CSK or Principal of CSK. Nobody Questioned Him From BCCI or IPL or India Cement
3. Meiyappan Twitter A/c also carried his CSK Principal Stuff
4. Now Suddenly when He Is in the eye of Storm Srini Says He Is Nothing & Actually The CSK Team is Owned by India Cements Share Holders

If That is So, For all these 6 Years Doeas the Balance Sheet of India Cement has CSK P& L A/c ??

Have they Made Public There a/c through India Cement Since CSK Defacto is Part of India Cement ?

Now Looking at The Whole Episode one can Conclude , That already Safeguards as for the Exit of Meiyappan & Moreover of Srini were in Place to Scuttle & Save them From this Eventuality & This Very Fact that Every clause of IPL Agreement & Conesquences arising Of Match Fixing & Just 2 Days Back India Cement Disowning Meiyappan Proves that Srini Is Very Much in the Loop Since all the Safeguards Were to Protect Him

I agree that there are loop holes. However, none of that is illegal. Yes I agree that the management may have navigated rules / laws to their advantage. That however doesn't qualify as illegal behavior on the part of Mr. Srinivasan and to ask him to resign just because he is associated with Gurunath is not needed

by Bihari Babu on May 25, 2013 09:28 PM  | Hide replies

Lalit Modi, the father of IPL, should be brought back to India. All charges on him should be dropped.

Lalit Modi, who also enjoys the confidence of Sharad Pawar, should be made BCCI president.

by Harvinder Singh on May 25, 2013 08:58 PM  | Hide replies

It is time for a cricket player be elected as BCCI president. Under current circumstances, Bishen Singh Bedi is the right candidate to mend all current crooks of BCCI.

Only Bedi can set right the tails of corrupted BCCI members.

There are only two eligible candidates who can be BCCI president.

Either current Srinivasan or else bring back A.C. Muthiah.

Can an indigenous Indian run a private body successfully in India?

Forget about Corporation to be wielded by an Indian!! Corporate affairs and private company management is not a cup of tea for enslaved Indians--you are not trained for that.
