One of the lessons learnt is to start a qualification process for the IPL . otherwise the sheen of the tournament will be lost with teams like Pune Warriors playing taking all excitement of the matches involved away .
The team owners must be careful in the next auction and select players wisely.If i am a team owner i will not go for these players even though they r great. 1.Chris Gayle.He is the Bradman of T20 no doubt.But next year will be 35 and his reflexes may not be the same 2.Sehwag.Same thing for him also 3.Shane Watson.Best T20 allrounder but always facing fitness issues 4.Gambhir.His attitude and approach towards other players will create -ve impact.Remember his scolding of Balaji on conceding runs 5.Sachin.Already past his prime 6.Nehra,Munaf,Dinda,RP Singh:Very poor death bowlers,can't bat and can't field 7.Yousuf Pathan.Strruggling with form every passing year. 8.Shaun Tait.Became a crowd favourite because of his raw pace.But not having good control and concedes too many extras.
May be i m too harsh to say this coz maximum indian young players were unable to perform when their team needed at crucial times. I m watching entire IPL to choose one new comer but unable to find a performer( excluding the present indian squad). Guys this is the platform for you to perform. Its not that we depend upon some overseas player. Its Indian Premier leauge. You better know that its very hard to find a place in any franchise. When u got a place why u guys lack to perform. Almost the IPL is over but we audience unable to cheer a one young player stood all the time. Do not let people like me to say " arey yaar ye to bus juice party hai".
