Surely the team has to perfrom overseas and also against stronger opposition in the subcontinent. But we do have a nucleus without Zaheer,Sehwag,Gambhir,Bhajji. Now time for the last laggard to go SRT

In the last 2 years: 4-0 Whitewash by England, 4-0 whitewash in Australia, 2-1 Defeat by England, Defeat in Tri-Series in Australia, getting kicked by Bangladesh in Asia Cup in Dhaka.
Wait till the series against SA and then evaluate where he stands. If he loses, then And only this win against a hapless B-Grade Australian team on bald doctored pitches would be fogotten like a sweet dream. :-)
Dhoni's Team India is yet to be tested against a good quality opposition. So let us wait for one more year, let them complete a few tours overseas, then we will see how good the buidling is... till then keeping my fingers crossed.
Team India deserves all the credit for their stupendous achievement of 4-0 win over Aussies.But it will be too early to conclude that young brigade has arrived. No doubt there were exceptional performances.It will be only after the overseas series with SA one can comment how many of them have cemented their places for years to come !

Why you getting upset mate? Didn't india perform exceptionally well and did not dhoni play very well? Or is it because he commented about the grt man?
If team keeps winning - credit of everything goes to captain; never mind that a captain is as good as his team. If team performance is poor - then, of course BCCI is responsible.
Again if India wins series, they praise like anything. If loses, they bang them. I think the author has forgot that india lost 10 test matches in last 18 months. Suddenly 4-0 win (that too against this pathetic aussies) will not make them a gr8 team. If india wins or even draws the series in SAF, then I agree, Dhoni has built a young team. till then, it is just winning in home matches, losing badly in abroad.

Suresh: When a team lose like Aus did 0-4, it will look pathetic. Give credit to the team who beat them after losing toss in all matches rather than -ve comments.
Same holds true in Eng & Aus when they beat India in same margin - India with Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Shewag, Ghambhir, looked pathetic then irrespective of these players caliber. Its not by the players the team look pathetic rather by the defeats inflicted by the opposite team.
Aus was not a pathetic team (period). If you say India beat Kenya, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe then agreed rest of the teams are not that easy to beat w/o hardwork.
I am looking forward to SA series and we need good players who can play pace.
