Please Retire Gambhir(the Fellow with the Dumb Look ) from all types of cricket and put him as a commentator for Doordarshan or some FM Radio, Please Retire him and Save the Country. Maybe he has good connections and money sponsored by SRK to keep tagging the Indain Team but we have Excellent players and We all Know he should be given a Kick in the A.....Ss
If this is the case, why the media and selectors appreciates only Dhoni for winning ... while lost of games ... Dhoni blames pitch, players, blowers, fielders, etc etc .....
Re: We all are responsible for win or defeat: Gambhir

As Indians we have to support Team India only, and that is the fact. We may criticise the captain and the other 10 players, but as the Team representing outr country , we shall support Team India always. Hope you understand. -)
All said and done. But look at the stats of the bowlers' condition after the world cup. 40 ODIs have been played since then, with as much as 13 fast bowlers having played these matches. Irfan Pathan is the best bowler with 4 & 5-wicket haul ONCE. Zaheer is supposed to be our most efficient pacer. But his bowling average is a disgusting 47.4
There is however, no explanation of dropping Shami Ahmed after a good performance. Nor does the dropping of people like RP Singh or Nehra justified (specially when they were a part of the team most of the times before the world cup).

You dint answer my question Oh Noble one, "So why do you waste time penning down your thoughts when you know that nothing will change? :)"

Oh Noble one, we are mere humans with normal feelings like "frustration", "happiness", "wonder", etc.
We are not "enlightened" like you to ask others to stop posting criticism while you continue criticizing others :)

Sorry if I am mistaken, I could not help but notice the fight between Neelamegham and Solid Singh a couple of days back :)
It is generally correct to say that all the 11 players are coolectively responsible for a win or a loss. But, each of them must put in their 100% do or die ability, which the Indians are lacking. Resposiblity on Ist 4-5 batmen is very high as much the 3-4 main bowers. So, the result can be made ve, only when all put up brave fight in the field. Not to blame one or two or the captain.
Gambhir has all the qualities to replace Dhoni. Traits are quite similar. 1. Speaks irrelevantly (when the whole India is criticizing the batsmen for collapses, he says that we should not blame the bowlers). 2. Cheat (fakes an injury to escape from the England ODI series in 2011 and plays CLT20) 3. Egoistic (self explanatory) 4. Immature (says nobody should be blamed since all are responsible for the result, even after so many humiliating losses) 5. Politician (always says something opposite of what the captain says)
Only drawback is that, he is not an opportunistic guy like Dhoni. He does not have the authority to drop down the order when the pitch is creating problems to bat.

LOLZ, agree. That is one disease which both Kohli & Gambhir have. There are very few batsmen who (I feel) are not having this foot-in-the-mouth symptoms even after many years of playing for India, ie: Sachin/Dravid/Laxman/Dhoni/Raina (until recently when he spoke so much abt whitewash, etc)/Irfan Pathan.
Others in the name of so called aggression have spoken nonsense without provocation.
