Lobbies in Indian Cricket
by SHANE on Jan 08, 2013 11:06 PM

There are two powerful lobbies in Indian Cricket, One is Chennai lobby leading by Srinivashan who strongly support dhoni and dhoni strongly support Jadeja, Ashwin, Raina and Ishant. Another powerful lobby is Mumbai lobby leading by Sharad Pawar ,second in command is Sandip Patil from mumbai who replace Shrikant from chennai and this lobby supports supports players like Rohit Sharma. There is mutual understanding between both lobbies to support each other's agenda and take a turn to rape Indian Cricket. Players like Jadeja also get support from second rank in command like Niranjan Shah who is from Saurashtra region. Both lobbies are supporting each other to not to get Delhi boys Virat or Gautam to be a Captain of Indian team. So people from Delhi,Bengal,Banglore, Gujarat, UP,MP will get few opprtunities and people from these two lobbies will keep selected like Rohitji Sharmai and Ravindraji Jadejaji keep selecting even after consistent failures.

Sehwag

To improve on techniques, lot of practice is required. Pak team did it as they hardly play matches. Indian team is continuously playing hence no time for practice. ideally they should rest half the team after each match so the rested players can practice.
Other thing is make 3 different teams for each format.

Sehwag can take retirement. He never played for records, but records chased him. He has earned tons of cash and can enjoy his family life the way he can.

But whenever Sehwag sizzled, he took the match his way. Very few fearless batsmen like Lara, Richards had this kind of courage.

Gambhir is biggest failure and just keeping his place because of lack of left hander. He neither contributes using bat or fielding. Once in a bluemoon he plays.

More then his failures, Gambhir should be dropped for his attitude.

His arrogance and refuse to accept his weaknesses is not what makes world class cricket player. He is just not a complete failure but he is also affecting the integrity of whole team and results are there for all to see..

England dropped Pieterson to teach him a lesson, why can't India do the same? Atleast Pieterson was performing and 50 times better player then Gambhir too.
