dropping of sehwag is a step in the right direction,however two more players need to be kicked out-rohit sharma & gambhir. their placesshould be taken by manoj tewary & abhinav mukund.moreover think yuvraj is in the team due to sentiments, there are better playersthan him to fit in the team.
Clearly M S Dhoni who enjoys Sriniwasn's patronage is targeting Sehwag as he sees him as threat to dethrone him, Bhajji too targeted as he was hardly used by MS and dropped from team. Sehwag is a match winner and one inning can change things fast & MS knows this ever since Jimmy exposed his Akka Sriniwasan.

Emotional fools- supporting a player inspite of string of failures.Not only Sehwag, Gambhir and Rohit Sharma deserved to given a boot. MSD does not perform in one games and people start baying for his blood but the other players who do not perform for 15 test are supposed to be retained on their past performance. No doubt Indian team has taken a beating!!

@mak: Sehwag is India highest individual Scorer and has won India a lot of matches.He is dropped coz he is out of form its ok.But why our board is so benevolent for biggest match loser in the history Raina who has played 160 matches and has not won India a single match..Raina should be dropped permanently and Irfan should replace him as Irfan is much better batsman than Raina and averages more than Raina in Tests.
Pujara should have replaced Rohit Sharma who have failed inspite of tons of opportunities given, Sehwag is a match winner with excellent record.Aswin is doing no wonders but being preferred to Bhajji due to CSK connection.
I think we need a pressure grp to remove Sriniwasan first to stop politics in selection, ever since Jimmy exposed him, Sehwag became target, even if Dhoni retains his position on current form he is a proven disaster as captain in last one year, Bhajji too is a victim of Dhoni politics.
