Team India is back from a series of debacles. SRT is back in form as evident from domestic circuit. India will handily defeat Aussies in our native soil. Still the maxim holds true and should be emulated.

Your comment shows you don't understand cricket and you are a typical Indian foool....... The fact is that the Aussies will thrash us 3-0 with one test being drawn. Warner, Cowan and Clarke will toy with this substandard attack and except Cheteshwara and to some extent Virat, the rest of the Indian batting will get exposed by Pattinson and Siddle.........sheer pace will be our undoing..... Go and watch some kabaddi......
This time our selectors have gone only on reputation while selecting players which made this team a very poor one against Aussies. Sehwag, Sachin and Harbhajan are three players who will not help India in this series. They are biggest flops of this year. Ashwin's bowling is strange. He gets wickets only by luck like his selection. India has so many good spinners waiting who are just ignored to accommodate these influential bowlers like Bhajji & Ashwin. If India loses this series, the main culprits are Sandeep Patil & Co.

I dont think Sandeep Patil can be a reason in anyways. I agree with every thing else you said! If team was doing good and if a bad selection cost a tournament then selectors can be questioned but you know our team situation very well and not blaming our bowlers, captain, batsmen, coach but pointing out on a new selection panel looks very much biased
Harbhajan was finished 3 years back. He's been below medicore for the past 3 years, the selectors have gone by reputation there were atleast 3 others who should have got a chance before him Jalaj Saxena, Rasool, or the Saurashtra offspinner - Vishal something.. then Shabaz Nadeem, Amit Mishra,Bhargav Bhatt, Rahul Sharma
Fact is Harbhajan on current form is way below all the players above. He can't take a wicket to save his life.

Street dadakiri wont do. Bhajji is finished .Aussies welcome him bcoz they know he is their asset
why wasting time my dear countrymen.... you know whats in store for you... we have seen that against England and Pakistan... do not expect anything better than that...now you understood who protected us in the earlier days (when dravid, laxman, etc. were there in the team)......
cricket overdose is affecting our players as well as the aus. but they have cleverly chosen three different teams for three formats where as same faces are seen in our teams in all formats. i am quite confident that we are gonna lose the series either whitewash or may be 3-1. the aus have the knack of never say die attitude even without their stars where as we always allow the middle and lower order to put runs on the board which could prove decisive. above all, we have one of the laziest coach in the form of humpty dumpty fletcher who till now hasnt spoken anything about the last one year debacle and even the BCCI is not keen to take actions. i am afraid if we still not going to act even after this series is lost.
India are still the favorites to win the test series because they have many things in their favor; an inexperienced Australian side, playing conditions and home advantage. Good luck to team India.

appreciate your gut feeling in spite of so many recent thrashings. how do you think we could have learnt a lesson so soon after the eng series? the problem is not that small for us to recover in such a short span of time. the issue seems to be himalayan in nature

Tough to win test matches, if you don't have any strike bowlers who can take wickets in bunches or batsman's, who play test cricket like it's ODI or T20. Test cricket is not a popular format in India with the fans or the players, who seem to enjoy IPL a lot more. Even the fans show their disdain by rarely turning up in large numbers to test matches in India. Compare that to the attendance of test matches in Oz or England. It's a question of attitude and skill.
kirsten has requested for seaming track for the next test. the spin friendly track in the previous test with ajmal taking 10 wickets scared the south africans and their coach gary kirsten.
like dhoni kirsten also wants pitches as per demand. but while dhoni requested a pitch which will be competitive and balanced for both sides (taking out the home advantage) kirsten wants such a pitch that is not helpful to spinners like akmal because sa have no good spinners but seamers track which will help steyn philander morkel etc. wonder what cricket fans think of this kirsten demand...

even dhoni wants spinnning track for home advantage. n no harm in taking home advantage. but it backfired against eng.

dhoni did not want spinning track for home advantage...he did not want that home advantage...he wanted a pitch where skills of both teams would be tested and there will be no ''home advantage''...yes you can say that that backfired...

Have you just born or arrived from Mars? Are you alien?
Dhoni and his gang were on the roof crying out for the spinning track and doing all to justify their demand. Even to the extent he ran in to arguments with the Curator in Kolkatta..

Goofball Ram Shyam or you yet to be born? or arrived from outer space?
dhoni did not get the pitch he wanted in kolkatta and curator in kolkatta had his way...

if dhoni and curator had the same pitch in mind would there have been any arguments? curator in kolkata did not want to give dhoni the pitch that dhoni wanted...hence all the arguments? can this simple fact enter your head? finally the curator had his way and dhoni was denied the type of pitch that dhoni wanted...can this simple fact enter yourhead?

Even on a non friendly pitch,SA beat Pak,despite Ajmal taking 10 wkts. So,don't compare that with Indian team who can't play well in their own backyard,on turning tracks.Don't know what Dhoni will do if the Mohali curator prepares a bouncy track against Australia, maybe as he said sumtime back he will retire from test cricket immediately.
