Well said. Indian bowlers (Irani Cup standard) will make us lose again against Australia...

LOLZ, that is something even Daku Hasina will not agree to :) Criticism is ok as long as it is related to the game. Why should we stop that?
His performance in dometic cricket clearly shows that SRT is back to his usual self. We will expect several big memorable innings from the master blaster

yes, when he comes to bat, the Australian bowlers will be substituted by our domestic cricket bowlers. :)

when ravindra jadeja can be selected to the tests based on his odi form what else can you expect from this cheap bcci and co.

It is high time Sachin should retire. Individual's performance and ambitions shoild not affecect growth of game . A senior player must always think of country first rather than his own records. Sachin is true politician as he dislikes youngster occupying his shoes.

What form did u see in MSD in test matches ? Going by recent domestic season, SRT is surely in form
Re: Re: bcci should select inform team

sure msd is no good batsman in test but there is no other wicketkeeper in team
how can a player be expected to perform at international levels based on their performance in ranji or irani games ???
going by the same logic, ravindra jadeja had recently hit two triple tons in ranji. but in international cricket he was found wanting..
tendulkar is a cricketer who is well past his prime. with declining form and advancing age he will be made mincemeat of.
the best time for tendulkar to bow out from all forms of the game on a high was after the victory in WC 2011... that he chose to play on (G_o_d knows for what reason ) will only come back to haunt him and rather than bowing out on a high, he would have a rather poor exit, thus besmirching, an illustrious career...

Your comment is equally a joke. If domestic performance is not a yardstick, then how do you expect to pick players. Perhaps, you are fan of BCCI, who are mostly non-cricketers, and rely on toss of coin or regionalism to get players selected.

Ya Jadeja was not good in the first few matches this time. But after he settled in, he got MOM awards & also Man of the series once. Do you think our Ranji players are not good? There are few exceptional players. Then how do you expect BCCI to select. U make every cricketer play international directly & then select them? Sachin played so good in the recent first-class matches. If you feel selection of player based on Ranji is not a good method, then please think how Pujara got into the team. Sachin past his prime? You wait & watch his centuries this series. Have you heard of the saying,"if life puts u down 10 times, u bounce back 11 times". All achievers live by this line. The others like us just sit outside the fence & make baseless comments.
