indians are genetically weak. thanks to daal chawal! even pakistan produces 145 plus fast bowlers regularly.all we have to offer is Bhuvaneshwar kumar.sounds like a classical singer than a fast bowler.

Bowling performance.....
by arup handique on Dec 06, 2013 01:39 PM

Rom was not built in a day....... So bhubaneswar & Mohit should get more chance... they are very very new but performance of yubraj was significantly horrible............. if he cannot recover himself then he should step back himself........

Success is not a destination its a journey............... you have to ready for any result, because winning & losing is a part of a game............

Quinton De-Kock hit the nail of the head when he said that the Indian bowlers are nowhere close the class of SA Bowlers.

Of course how can they be. You cant make a donkey run like a horse, can U ?

Wrong selection
by Ramdas Nayak on Dec 06, 2013 01:09 PM

It is absurd to expect Mohit Sharma to bowl to South Afrikans in their grounds. He is a club class bowler. Similarly Yuvi has lost his confidence therefore should not play ODIs for some time. Ashwin will be failed spinner outside India. We should play Yadav, Ozha and Ajhinhya in the team for the remaining matches..

NOTHING TO WORRY
by Shilpa Mehta on Dec 06, 2013 12:35 PM  | Hide replies

ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME .
No team can win all the games . Still Team India can win remaining two matches
& win the series .
Same thing happened in recent AUS series also , we lost first ODI but went on the win
the series . Team India is well known to make a strong come back .
Only matter of concern is that our pace bowling attack is comparitively weaker
than SA attack .

South Africa should drop Dale Steyn, JP Duminy and AB De'Villiers from the team, only then, we will have a fair chance to make it 1-2

Agreed.
No role for spinners in such pitches. Play fast bowlers and specialist batsman. Yuvraj and Raina are useless against bounce. Give a chance to someone who is waiting for his term in bench..
My team for next match will be:
Rohit
Shikhar
Kohli
Rahane
Rayudu
Dhoni
Ashwin/ Jadeja
Umesh
Shami
Ishant
Bhuvi

Then we would see more 30runs per over from Ishant...just as he did in Mohali odi against aussies.
