I guess that we lost just because of not having a single genuine fast bowler or a quality spinner. Otherwise very recently Pakistan has beaten South Africa in S.A.

The opposition psyches us with statements about limitations. Shami took 3 wickets. He has enough speed (140k) and if he can maintain the length and swing the ball, we can see wickets tumbling. Given some time, Jadega and Aswin can trouble them.
If Dhoni, with no technique whatsover could hit SA bowlers all over, why not Rohit and Co..
They need to employ Sachin to teach these guys and psyche them up

It is easy to be a pessimist. If you cannot be psoitive, who will be; South Africans for you. In the 70s and 80's when I saw the Indian line-up, we barely had decent fast bowlers and spinners except for Venkat could not even bat. Ghavri was the only seamer. Gavaskar and Solkar were gentle pacers who came to get the shine off.
We won test matches. Be positive. Don't go around spreading negativity. Shikar Dhawan, Rohit, Virat, Dhoni are all world class not because of Srinivasan... You are mixing up things that are not connected.
Shami is even faster than Kapil who came when the spin trio faded away. It is not easy to be a pacer from India. Be patient.

True. I wouldnt say it was so bad except for Yuvi who looked quite scared. Virat Rohit and Raina did gather some momentum before they got out.
All teams lose to Team BCCI by narrow margins in India, and even win some as Australia did recently & England before that. But Team BCCI loses all matches abroad and by huge margins.

india won in england i.e champions trophy and we all know what is the capacity of south africa when it comes ICC matches... isnit it ?... now a days every team is winning in their home venues... remember sri lankan thrashing of south africa on its home ground in one day matches...... let us give credit to south africa for playing well... the same morkel and steyn will not find it that easy when they tour india.. bec they bowling against our batting in our home venues is a different story.... ask Mitchell Jhonson who tried very hard only to see his 150 km ball landed up in stands...

So yesterday's 141 run loss does not justify anything Vijayji.. It only shows the lack of quality of Indian bowlers and some batsmen. Yesterday's pitch was bowler friendly and none of our bowlers did well.. India won the toss and made the right decision to put SA to bat, what happened? A 20 year old kid took theballs out of Team-BCCI.. Pak won a series in India against India recently. What excuses do you have for that? "Quality" is as important a word as "quantity" dear.. Something better is expected of a Rank-1 team, justifying its shameful loss makes no sense.

There is nothing so great in Steyn & Morkel . These bowlers gets battered when they bowl on sub continent pitches . Here suddenly they become ordinary .

They did smash them. Watch the older videos. The current crop will also do. It takes more time. Sachin and Azhar could handle this type of bowling well. Mohinder and Gavaskar have handled much more dangerous bowlers.

problem is indian batsman need flat tracks all the time anywhere in world. and we dont have fast bowlers so they will loose on bouncy tracks. see last series of SA against PAK both were having gud fast bowlers. those were low scoring matches. but on green tracks 350 to chase is next to impossible when ball on flat track comes below waist and on green tracks it comes above shoulder. if india gets 3 fast bowlers with speed above 145 then we can beat any team anywhere even worlds best 11 team on green tracks. so india should start making both tracks now for developing fast bowlers else same story. kutta apne ghar hi sher hota hai

Not when there is humidity in air. Very few can swing the ball like Bhuvi. Indians have short memory...
