Sachin has suggested that @ school and college level the playing strength of a team could be increased to 15 from the present day 11. I feel this suggestion of his is wrt to one Arjun Tendulkar,who has failed to find a place in the playing XI of Mumbai school team.
Come on, it is time that Sachin became real ambassador of sports instead of still talking of cricket itself. He should start some foundation for games like carrom, tennicoit, kabaddi, skating, etc., as he has enough money to at least give away in award some money for the winners. Come on, it is time to pay back to the sports as a whole, Sachin.

If Any Sport including Hockey, Football, Tennis etc in India want more attention, Appoint Sachin as Coach or Mentor (Only in Paper). So that particular Sport might get more attention for some days.
He talks about players from smaller places doing it big. Look at how his own team mumbai team lobby stops at no end to push mumbai cricketers. rohit sharma was given an extended. He played around 100 games before he came good. now there is talk to push him to no. 4 in his 3 rd test and 1st test outside subcontinent. not to forget rahane,zaheer even dhawal kulkarni. Almost as if all cricketers who represent India need to be from mumbai or mumbai indians

what is his role in rohit sharma's extension? rohit is a slave of dhoni like raina and jadeja. dhoni did not even allow a small towner varun aron to be in the team even though ishant and other bowler failed so bad.

That same mumbai team has been whipping your back side for the past 31 yrs, Dhawal Kulkarni got selected for being the most consistent pacer for the past 4 yrs he has been the leading wicket taker for at least 2. If you want people to be selected for considerations other then cricket then please push your ishant sharma.
The list of those who simply create stories for this excellent batsman is unending.Why do we need to create ideal person in every celebrity?he was a good player but not a great leader & India should respect that.

He is smart in his field and is not giving a lecture on science or politics. There is no course in cricet, and it's a good thing he didnt bother to study further.

Seems some people are still very jealous of Sachin. Typical mentality - cannot do anything yourself, bring down the real achievers simply by criticising and belittling them. As if anybody cares about their useless opinions!
Then we have to take 4 extra players. Then after few years, kohli or Rohit says why not play 19 in team, bechaare 4 kids will be disappointed and give opprortunities for all 19 in team. Then next gen super star will ask for 23 in team, then 27, then 31
I am not a great fan of Sachin.. but it somewhat makes sense..we already do this for practice matches when India tours some England or viceversa with an idea to get every one warmed up. THis might work as an encouragement for all the 15 selected boys. When we can accept changes at an international level with regards to Power plays and formats why not give this a try in local cricket?
