Tendulkar was a great player. The spirit in which he played for India made his the name. But when I grew up I realised Tendulkar main motive is money. Many times for money and his place he kept himself above the country. Like Ricky Ponting sat himself because he realised team interest is more than individual glory. Thats why Tendulkar has gone of my list. He is selfish, individual seeker quite man but smart. Calling him great India is foolish.
Compared to him only those people whose contribution can impact people's lives and take country forward are great citizen. One name recently stood my attention is Singapore Prime Minister Lee. Such a visionary man, dedicated. His father ruled Singapore for 3 decades and transformed Singapore from one of the poorest and corrupt nation to one of the most innovative, advanced and unique nation. Salute to their mothers who give birth to people like them. I visited 5 first world countries no country made such a deep impact on me in terms of development and law like Singapore

Can anyone name one player in the WORLD HISTORY , be it any sport like Cricket , Football , Hockey , TT , Badminton , Tennis , Athletics , Rugby etc where a player has played at international level for 24 long years ?? That's the FITNESS & PERFORMANCE level of this great man . We're lucky that he's an Indian .

hehehehehehe.shilpa,agreed with u that he is a legend and did fantastic job for india, but every sportsman has to hang his boot one fine day, and i am sorry to say sachin has missed the chance on many occasions, and the most shocking thing is he is still not realizing that he is not playing well

Sir Vivian Richards know the pulse of indian public. Sir Richrd know tendulkar is greedy and most selfish but he ius paid money in IPL. Nobody regrets tendulkar is very great but look how he is shaming himself for few bucks. He is making a fool of himself and when media ask him he says i dont care for public i started playing cricket not they told me as indian team is his property

I was loving tendulkar like anything but unfortunate he has personal greed where he is rotten now and even he knows that but the money offered is so big and he has proved in past that for him money is above all where he did not pay ferrari duty to country. We all evade tax but tendulkar is model he did not set an example. Lower class people of india would always make him idol in fact all other people in world say good about him because they want a special place in india and IPL. he was great bt he has past him prime in 2011 tendulkar must go now

Great.. Un Gelly is planning to start a grocerry shop to brand promote Sachin. Sachin agreed to let him name to Brinjal and Brinjal will be promoted by Sachin... sorry Un Gelly, because Sachin cannot use his pea sized brain and may make a mess of the pricing Brinjal. Sorry aunty.
