Can anyone name one player in the WORLD HISTORY , be it any sport like Cricket , Football , Hockey , TT , Badminton , Tennis , Athletics , Rugby etc where a player has played at international level for 24 long years ?? That's the FITNESS & PERFORMANCE level of this great man . We're lucky that he's an Indian .

whatever u may say.raj singh...this is the exact impression sachin is giving...& do you mean people who have acheived fame & sucess should set such an example as sachin?
but what abt.performance....he is out of form for long....he is lost his focus....its a team game & some1 else has to perform so that the team wins.....there are limited players who can play in the team & very little chance that some1 in the team can be let off so that another gets a chance...what more does sachin wants from cricket that he hasn't yet got...sometimes i think he should have been educated enough to think rationally,cause education makes you intelligent to think what is right & wrong..
Sports Media must stop breeding slavish adulatory reporting on a few legends at the cost of future talents. There are hundreds of Sachins waiting in all parts of India who did not have a Shivaji Park to bloom. Sachin had his time, laurels, fame, money and he is good as a role model. Encourage and mainstream many new talents and see how they can be supported to become super cricketers than worshipping a few icons and boring the readers time and again
