I travelled along with Indian Cricket Team in 1998 to Chennai from Mumbai. Was fresh in a new job which sent me to Mumbai - Siemens for Training then. It was amazing to see him in person. I realized he was leftee and when I shook hands with him, I thought I shock a rocky hand. It was never a forgettable experience. He asked me what I was doing ( I took the autograph at the backpage in my course material).
I have met him twice. the first time was in the lobby of the grand oberoi in calcutta. I was a kid myself, sachin was 17. He was wearing a dark green polo shirt. And it was the first time i realised he was a leftie,when he signed my autograph book.The second time I met him at the same hotel,in his room,in nov 1992.we had some mutual friends,sachin had got the man of the match award ,but had hurt his ankle. All squaeky voice and a headful of curly hair,he was so polite and absolutely sweet and so humble. Stardom hadn't touched him. That meeting is a memory I'll always cherish

I met Sachin in 2004 when India toured England. After completing game at the Oval, I hand chance to shake hands with him and wish good luck. It was great experience as Sachin was very calm and down to earth. He did same with other 3 friends and smiled. Life time experience. Hats off to him... Happy birthday and wish him all the best.
